Resumen del episodio 8 de Generation to Generation
> Resúmenes de Generation to Generation
Cai Zhao was stunned to learn that Elder Tianji, Duan Jiuxiu, was still alive, despite believing her aunt, Cai Pingshu, had killed him years ago. Zhou Zhiqin confessed that he had spared the Elder after a past battle, keeping him as a secret ally to further his own ambitions of surpassing his brother and unifying the sects.
However, the alliance between the villains was fragile; the maid Qinong revealed she was a double agent working for Duan Jiuxiu, whom she called Uncle Jiu, while mocking Zhiqin’s delusions of grandeur. Sensing their mutual greed and distrust, Cai Zhao manipulated the trio into a lethal conflict over the limited supply of Snow-Scale Dragon saliva. She demanded that Duan Jiuxiu prove his sincerity by beheading Zhou Zhiqin.
As the villains turned on one another, Cai Zhao fled but was eventually cornered at the edge of a precipice. Just as she faced certain death, Mu Qingyan arrived, accompanied by the "resurrected" Qian Xueshen. It was revealed that Qian Xueshen had faked his death in the ice cave by swapping identities with a man named Zhang using a body-shifting technique.
Mu Qingyan had survived the giant python because his internal cultivation made his body too hot for the cold-loving creature to tolerate. Qian Xueshen then dropped his facade, revealing his true identity as Tao Shu, the son of the humble hunters who had saved Zhiqin, Duan Jiuxiu, and Qinong fifteen years ago. Instead of showing gratitude, the villains had murdered his family to cover up their collusion.
Seeking vengeance, Tao Shu used a concentrated scent to drive the giant python into a frenzy, leading to the villains' demise. In the ensuing chaos, the mountain collapsed, and Cai Zhao, Mu Qingyan, and Tao Shu fell into the depths of a lake. They were rescued by the inn’s landlady, Xuegu, and her companion, Mr. Ning. Recovering in a hidden valley, Cai Zhao noticed patterns on the tea set that matched those of Luoying Valley.
Xuegu explained that her master was a disciple of Gu Qingkong, the legendary first "demoness" of Luoying Valley, who had fled there two centuries ago to protect spirit beasts from human greed. Cai Zhao also discovered that her aunt, Cai Pingshu, had visited the valley years ago with a mysterious masked man who had painted the valley's history.
Most surprisingly, Mr. Ning was revealed to be Cai Zhao's maternal uncle, who had vanished fifteen years ago to escape the turmoil of the martial world. Though the adult dragon was dead, Tao Shu possessed a rare dragon egg. Recalling ancient texts, Mu Qingyan suggested that the creature would respond to the blood of those it shared a bond with. Using Cai Zhao’s blood, they successfully hatched a baby Snow-Scale Dragon.
The mischievous creature eventually settled into a specialized nesting mechanism designed by the Ning clan, allowing them to collect its precious saliva. To test its potency, Tao Shu used it to facilitate a body-shift on Mu Qingyan, temporarily transforming him into the likeness of the landlady. As they prepared to depart, Mu Qingyan asked Cai Zhao if she would ever give up everything for love.
Ever the pragmatist, she admitted she was too fond of the bustling world and her own ambitions to live in isolation. The next morning, Cai Zhao and Mu Qingyan bid farewell to the mountain, while Tao Shu remained behind to raise the young dragon and protect the sanctity of the hidden valley.
