Resumen del episodio 1 de Generation to Generation
> Resúmenes de Generation to Generation
Two hundred years ago, during a period of great turmoil, Founder Beichen sacrificed himself to suppress a demon, leading his disciples to establish the Six Sects of Beichen to maintain order. Fifteen years ago, the martial arts world was again bathed in blood by Nie Hengcheng, the Chief of the Li Sect. It was the heroic Cai Pingshu of Luoying Valley who ended his tyranny by sacrificing her own life in a final battle at Mount Tu.
Her niece, Cai Zhao, grew up watching her aunt linger on her deathbed, leading her to shun the "curse of the demoness" that had historically plagued the women of her valley. While her predecessors were known for consorting with beasts or eloping with villains, Cai Zhao preferred a life of leisure and gossip novels.
In the picturesque Luoying Valley, Cai Zhao’s parents, Cai Pingchun and Ning Xiaofeng, decided to send her to the Qingque Sect to study martial arts for one year, fulfilling her aunt’s final wish. Despite being the "Great Manager" of the local businesses and pleading with her mother to stay, Cai Zhao was eventually forced into a carriage. Meanwhile, ten hours prior, the Chang clan had been massacred at Chang Fort.
Cai Pingchun and the Qingque Sect Leader, Qi Yunke, arrived to find a scene of devastation. They rescued the sole survivor, Chang Ning, who had spent the night fighting beside his father’s corpse. Chang Ning was riddled with at least five rare toxins, and because the poison had reached his vital organs, Qi Yunke decided to bring the boy back to his own sect for specialized treatment.
A month later, Cai Zhao arrived at the Qingque Sect, located atop the treacherous Thousandfold Cliff. Accompanied by Yang Xiaolan of the Siqi Sect, she marveled at the scenery until she stumbled upon a confrontation. Qi Lingbo, the arrogant daughter of the Sect Leader, was harassing Chang Ning. She demanded a bowl of his "heart blood" as compensation for a Snow Lotus Pill she claimed he had taken.
Chang Ning, though physically weak and having lost his internal power, remained defiant. He reminded Qi Lingbo that her family and the other Beichen sects owed their lives to his father’s past sacrifices, including saving her grandfather and the sects from the demon cult. Cai Zhao intervened to protect Chang Ning, using her aunt Cai Pingshu’s legendary reputation to intimidate Qi Lingbo.
She cleverly argued that having a conscience was more important than following the rigid rules Qi Lingbo claimed to uphold. The situation was eventually defused when Song Yuzhi, Qi Lingbo’s fiancé, arrived to lead her away. Later, Qi Yunke and the elders, including the Sect Leader of the Song clan, discussed the tragedy at Chang Fort. They suspected that the demon sect, dormant for fifteen years, was stirring again to search for a hidden treasure within the Chang estate.
While Qi Yunke worked hard to treat Chang Ning, his wife, Yin Sulian, remained cold and dismissive of the boy's plight, favoring her daughter instead. Cai Zhao was settled into a luxurious residence called Chunling Cottage, an arrangement made by Qi Yunke that sparked envy among other disciples. Her fifth senior brother, Fan Xingjia, noted the Sect Leader’s unique favor toward her. Despite her claims that she didn't like martial arts, Cai Zhao’s luggage was filled with Jianghu romance novels.
The next day, Qi Yunke established a strict training regimen, including meditation at the Yin hour and a rule of "no eating after noon." Believing Cai Zhao was unskilled, Qi Lingbo attempted to provoke her again by "gifting" her a whip and forcing a spar. To everyone's surprise, Cai Zhao displayed exceptional martial skills and easily defeated her, piquing the interest of Song Yuzhi. However, Cai Zhao remained wary of Chang Ning.
She noticed he acted submissive toward the Sect Leader while remaining cold and calculating in private. That night, she visited him with medicine to probe his identity, questioning him about his childhood asthma and his father’s old nickname, "Nanny Chang." As Chang Ning explained his father's sacrifices and his own struggle to survive, assassins launched a sudden attack, filling the room with knockout smoke and plunging them both into immediate danger.
