Resumen del episodio 17 de Generation to Generation
> Resúmenes de Generation to Generation
Mu Qingyan and Cai Zhao were trapped in a dark iron cage as a swarm of terrifying Bone-Erosion Ants approached. Mu Qingyan identified the controller as Han Yisu, the third disciple of the former leader Nie Hengcheng. Han Yisu emerged, fueled by fifteen years of hatred; he had been left crippled after Cai Zhao's aunt, Cai Pingshu, used the "Sundering Heaven, Slaying Sun" technique to defeat him and kill his master.
As You Guanyue and Song Yuzhi arrived to provide a distraction, Mu Qingyan killed Han Yisu with a hidden weapon. However, with his dying breath, Han triggered a mechanism that plunged Mu and Cai into a deep underground palace. Exploring the subterranean complex, they found a tomb for "The Mu Couple." Mu Qingyan recalled that the fifth Chief, Mu Donglie, had abdicated at age twenty to live in seclusion.
While rumors suggested the palace held treasures—evidenced by the skeletons of failed seekers—Cai Zhao noticed "peach blossom" signals on the walls, which were actually guide marks used by her own sect, Luoying Valley. Meanwhile, You Guanyue’s forces secured the Bliss Palace and enlisted the help of Elder Yan Xu to locate the secret entrance. Deep inside, Mu and Cai discovered a screen wall detailing the life of the sect’s founder, Mu Xiujue.
It revealed a shocking truth: Mu Xiujue was the son of the Beichen ancestor, who had left home after a fallout over the use of forbidden techniques. Furthermore, the founders of the Six Sects were originally his servants. This discovery led Mu Qingyan to remark that "good" and "evil" are often labels manufactured by later generations for their own interests.
The pair eventually found a beautifully furnished wedding chamber containing the sword of Luo Shiyun, a legendary Luoying Valley figure branded a "demoness" for eloping with Mu Donglie. Through her handbooks, they learned the true story: the two were originally enemies who fell off a cliff together. During their recovery, they developed mutual feelings. When the Qingque Sect took Luo back to marry her senior brother, Yin, Mu Donglie crashed the wedding and used Chaos Needles to subdue Yin.
Luo stayed with Mu to save Yin’s life, initially plotting Mu's death—hence the chains found in the room. Eventually, after Luo was slandered by her own sect and even doubted by Yin, she attempted suicide to prove her innocence. Mu Donglie saved her again, and she finally chose to stay by his side.
Reflecting on this, Mu Qingyan spoke of the sweetness of being with a loved one even in a "cage," but Cai Zhao insisted that happiness within a cage is never true freedom. Following a final hidden signal, they escaped the palace, surviving an ambush by a mysterious man in black. They reunited with their allies, with Song Yuzhi explaining he tracked the exit by studying the mountain's feng shui and disrupted water sources.
The group then tracked the fugitive Nie Zhe to the Mu clan's ancestral residence, a forbidden ground where few dared to go. After capturing him, Mu Qingyan used a brutal internal technique to torture Nie Zhe, demanding the truth behind the massacre at Chang Fort and his father’s death. During the interrogation, Sun Ruoshui appeared, tearfully blaming Nie Zhe for everything. Mu Qingyan remained unmoved, exposing her as a trained spy who never attempted to warn him.
He threatened her with "Suzi Fragrance" poison to force a confession. The two villains soon turned on each other; Nie Zhe revealed that Sun Ruoshui had seduced him out of vanity because she despised her husband Mu Zhengming's lack of ambition. In retaliation, Sun Ruoshui confessed that Nie Zhe had attacked Chang Fort under the orders of a mysterious "Man in Black." Just as she was about to reveal more, Nie Zhe tried to silence her, but Mu Qingyan pressed them for the final identity of the mastermind.
