She confessed her regret about her previous determination to uncover mysteries, now realizing that staying alive was paramount and worrying about her father who must be searching for her. Changyue reassured her, suggesting they rest for the night and plan their escape from the forest in the morning. Later, exhausted, Qi Yuanbao leaned on Changyue and fell asleep.
Though Changyue initially moved her, she soon leaned back, and he allowed her to rest. Elsewhere, Xue Hanyu had finished bandaging Su Qianqian's leg, explaining that the pain indicated the poison was dissipating. He revealed he carried many medicines because his cousin, Qi Yuanbao, was prone to injuries. When he prepared to leave, Su Qianqian refused to walk, recalling his earlier mockery of her. Despite his initial refusal, he eventually gave in and carried her.
Su Qianqian, leaning contentedly on Xue Hanyu, called him "not completely useless," earning a sharp retort from him to remain silent if she couldn't offer a proper compliment. She then playfully dared him to leave her behind, prompting him to continue carrying her. She asked if he would return to Qishan Sect, to which Xue Hanyu responded that he couldn't, fearing his uncle's anger over Qi Yuanbao's disappearance and his failure to protect her.

Working together, they successfully defeated the flower and finally managed to exit the strange forest.
Meanwhile, Xue Hanyu also emerged from the forest, still carrying Su Qianqian, who expressed relief at their escape and wondered about her sister's whereabouts. The three eventually reunited on a bustling street, only to discover sect disciples actively searching for Qi Yuanbao, showing her portraits to passersby. Recognizing the danger, Qi Yuanbao quickly guided Changyue and Su Qianqian's sister into hiding. Unbeknownst to them, in another location, Qi Yuanbao's sect members, led by her father, were anxiously searching for her.
Meng Shu, one of the sect members, expressed deep concern, feeling restless about Qi Yuanbao's safety amidst the current dangers. She also revealed that she believed she had seen "her" that day, hinting at a new, ominous development. Qi Yuanbao's father considered the possibility that if she wasn't in Bei Xuan City, she might have gone to Suiyue Mountain to find Shuyai, especially since she possessed the Tianji Pendant.
Deciding he must act, he resolved to travel to Suiyue Mountain personally to intercept Qi Yuanbao and instructed a subordinate to send a letter to Shuyai, urging him to closely monitor Qi Yuanbao's movements.
