> Dear Mr. Heavenly Fox Recap

Xue Hanyu and Su Qianqian shared a lighthearted moment, with Xue Hanyu playfully teasing her about bloodletting. Moments later, Xue Hanyu fiercely defended Su Qianqian against bullies, warning them he would "beat you to death" if they ever harassed her again. He then made a heartfelt promise to Su Qianqian: he would give her an even bigger and better surprise, telling her, "You fool. From now on, I am your family."

Clutching her wedding gown, Su Qianqian arrived at the mourning hall, determined to marry Xue Hanyu as planned, despite his death. She performed the wedding ritual, but before she could finish, she fainted from grief and exhaustion. At that moment, Chang Yue appeared in the hall. Qi Yuanbao, seeing him, accused him of being her father's murderer, her eyes burning with hatred.

Chang Yue stated he had come to pay respects to her father, but Qi Yuanbao furiously declared he had no right to even speak her father's name, let alone mourn him, addressing him instead as "Sect Leader Qi." As Chang Yue's eyes filled with tears, Qi Yuanbao used her magic to attack him, attempting to drive him away.

Despite being severely injured and spitting blood, Chang Yue stubbornly continued to advance, asking Qi Yuanbao if his suffering brought her any relief. Qi Yuanbao, struggling to maintain her composure, questioned why Chang Yue, who had once promised to protect and love her for eternity, would kill her father and Xue Hanyu, leaving her devastated. The truth, however, was far more complex.

It was revealed that on the night of her father's death, he had transferred the parasitic Zombie King from Qi Yuanbao's body to his own, ensuring she could live. Knowing the immense guilt this would cause her, he begged Chang Yue to conceal the truth from Qi Yuanbao. Overwhelmed by the pain of the Zombie King's possession, her father then pleaded with Chang Yue to end his suffering.

Before Chang Yue could fully comprehend, her father grabbed Chang Yue’s hand and forced the sword into his own chest. In the present, holding a sword, Qi Yuanbao desperately implored Chang Yue to kill her and release her from her agony, but Chang Yue managed to wrench the weapon away. Chang Yue, still determined to protect Qi Yuanbao, offered to teach her a way to exact revenge for her father.

He then shattered his own Soul of the End, explaining that this soul was the very essence of a Heavenly Fox's life, and its destruction would cause the fox to perish entirely. Qi Yuanbao watched in horror and anguish as Chang Yue made this ultimate sacrifice, crying out that she never wanted him to die. Chang Yue had chosen to die by her hand, making her believe her revenge was complete, to spare her from the true, unbearable reality.

Back in her father's room, a senior brother brought grave news: Su Qianqian's condition had worsened significantly over the past two days, and the doctor feared she did not have much time left. Delirious, Su Qianqian constantly heard Xue Hanyu's voice, feeling his presence and his hand in hers. She rose from her bed, seeing visions of him everywhere, her tears flowing freely. When Qi Yuanbao arrived, she found Su Qianqian collapsed on the floor.

Qi Yuanbao understood that for Su Qianqian, this was a release. Out of compassion, Qi Yuanbao arranged for Su Qianqian to be buried beside Xue Hanyu, so they could finally rest together. Qi Yuanbao later visited a special place where she, her father, Xue Hanyu, and Chang Yue had once laughed and played. Now, she was utterly alone. Mistaking a new arrival for Chang Yue, she was instead met by his subordinate.

The subordinate recounted the immense suffering Chang Yue had endured for Qi Yuanbao's sake. He explained that to obtain the Po Suo Leaf, Chang Yue had braved the soul-burning, body-scorching Heavenly Fire and Thunder, survived the tendon-ripping, bone-pecking attack of the Eight-Clawed Demon Bird, and endured the blood-draining, marrow-consuming Abyss of Soul Flames, losing eight lives in the process. Chang Yue had kept all this a secret because he feared the guilt would overwhelm Qi Yuanbao.

The subordinate then presented Qi Yuanbao with an item, telling her it held the "final truth" of their intertwined fates. Through the item, Qi Yuanbao witnessed the full, devastating reality. She saw that it was her actions, when possessed by the Zombie King, that had killed Xue Hanyu and her senior brothers.

She saw her father willingly sacrifice himself to save her from the Zombie King, and heard his plea to Chang Yue not to reveal the truth, stating, "I, Qilian, have never asked anyone for anything. You cannot let Father become a sinner condemned for eternity. . . As long as I can protect Yuanbao and ensure peace in the world, I am willing to die."

She also saw his deep affection for her, believing that "only this simple and unadorned hairpin is worthy of my daughter." Realizing she was responsible for the deaths of those she loved most, and that Chang Yue had taken the blame to shield her, Qi Yuanbao's world shattered, and she completely broke down. Driven to despair and consumed by guilt, Qi Yuanbao walked to a cliff's edge, intending to end her life.

As she prepared to leap, the item Chang Yue had left behind glowed with a spiritual light, triggering a flood of past life memories. She remembered being a fox spirit in her previous existence, desperately trying to win the love of Lingzi, a divine spirit who practiced Silent Meditation and was destined for sacrifice at age twenty. In her desperate attempt to save him, she had even contemplated shattering Smashed Moon Mountain to destroy the sacrificial formation.

As these memories unfolded, she saw an image of Chang Yue embracing her, and suddenly, she found herself back safely on the cliff. A spirit pearl then emerged from her body and ascended into the sky, confirming Chang Yue's rebirth. With a glimmer of hope, Qi Yuanbao returned to the place where she first met Chang Yue. She heard his voice calling her name, and a smile, a rare one in her recent grief, touched her lips.
