Lu Xun himself merely smiled, then stepped forward, took Lin Chen's hand, and confirmed their cohabitation. The crowd responded with enthusiastic applause. However, Liu Yan, witnessing Lin Chen's moment in the spotlight, felt increasingly resentful. Later, when no one else was around, she confided in her partner about her strong jealousy towards Lin Chen.
To her surprise, her partner earnestly confessed his genuine feelings for her and expressed a desire to seriously date her. Liu Yan, however, brushed off his sentiments, making it clear that romantic attachments were secondary to her ambition of achieving greater fame and popularity. Outside, the paparazzi had intensified their surveillance. Jiao Jie informed Lin Chen and Lu Xun that there were at least three paparazzi teams still watching.

His condition was that, starting that day, she would not go out alone for any reason other than necessary filming. Instead, Jiao Jie devised a plan: since Lin Chen would already be at Jiangbei University for filming, she would find a way for Lin Chen to discreetly slip away for her exams, ensuring both commitments could be met without raising suspicion. Lin Chen then mentioned her desire to visit Lin Wan on her day off tomorrow, which Jiao Jie approved, strictly warning her not to let Lu Xun find out.
The next day, as Lin Chen prepared to leave, Lu Xun intercepted her. He asked where she was going, and she fabricated an excuse about having caught a cold and needing to go to the hospital. He reassured her that he would only drop her off and not get out of the car, especially with paparazzi still lurking outside. Lin Chen reluctantly agreed. Later, at the hospital, Lin Chen and Jiao Jie were in Lin Wan's room. Jiao Jie confirmed that Lu Xun had indeed brought Lin Chen but hadn't suspected anything. While looking at a glass, Lin Chen began to suspect that someone might have targeted her but mistakenly harmed Lin Wan instead. Lin Chen then excused herself to use the restroom.
Outside the room, Lu Xun, who had been waiting nearby, spotted Liu Yan and her partner arriving to investigate a tip they had received about Lin Wan. Lu Xun quickly found Lin Chen and warned her, advising her to stay put while he went to distract Liu Yan. He confronted Liu Yan, attempting to appear busy and important as the vice president of SW.
Jiao Jie then emerged from Lin Wan's room and joined the argument, making the bizarre, sarcastic claim that she was there to care for her "soon-to-be-paralyzed boyfriend." Liu Yan retorted, questioning Jiao Jie's own popularity and freedom. As the argument continued, Lin Chen appeared, still in character as Lin Wan. Liu Yan was surprised to see her.
As he looked at Lin Chen, Lu Xun's gaze shifted past her to the open hospital room door, where he saw the real Lin Wan lying in her bed. The real Lin Wan then spoke, confirming, "This is my younger sister, Lin Chen." A staff member announced that visiting hours were over, and as they were asked to leave, Liu Yan, finally piecing together the truth, stared in disbelief. " Oh, she is Lin Wan," she said, looking at the bed, "Then you are. . ."
