Ming had sorted through over 30 orders that fit their criteria, but the delivery addresses were scattered across Chengxi District, offering no immediate lead. Zhou You then rewatched a live stream recording and noticed a bandage on Qin Huai's head, which sparked an idea.
He instructed Ming to search for any delivery orders for adhesive bandages that matched any of the food delivery addresses. This new approach quickly yielded results; Ming called back, confirming they had found an address where both food and bandages were delivered. Meanwhile, Chen Mo, following General's instructions, arrived at an abandoned factory in the suburbs, where he boarded a chiller truck. He entered the cargo area to receive further directives, only to be locked inside by General.
Chen Mo was then transported in the truck to a cage where he met Qin Huai, who was also held captive. Zhou You arrived at the abandoned "Happy KTV" and heard Mu Tong's desperate cries for help. He found her bound and quickly took photos, sending them along with the KTV's address to Officer Guo, urging her to dispatch officers immediately. Inside a secure cage within the KTV, General brought Chen Mo to where Qin Huai was already held captive.
After managing to free themselves from their initial restraints, Qin Huai and Chen Mo discovered they were both wearing pulse-monitoring bracelets. General appeared on a screen, revealing his twisted game: if either of their hearts stopped within five minutes, a motor holding a knife to Mu Tong's throat would cease, saving her life. Otherwise, the knife would pierce her. General then threw a dagger into their cage, forcing them to choose who would sacrifice themselves.
Watching Mu Tong's tormented image on the screen, Chen Mo, in despair, grabbed the dagger. Qin Huai, seeing this, rushed forward to stop him. In the ensuing struggle, Chen Mo tragically stabbed Qin Huai. Witnessing the harrowing scene, Zhou You attempted to rush to their aid, but was abruptly pulled away by Ma Pingchuan, who had been observing from a hidden spot.
Ma Pingchuan, claiming he was there to help, explained that he had designed the system controlling Mu Tong's predicament and was the only one who could stop it. He urgently requested Zhou You's computer, and with time running out, Zhou You reluctantly agreed to trust him. What appeared to be Chen Mo fatally stabbing himself was an elaborate ruse. Qin Huai had deliberately gripped the dagger blade, allowing Chen Mo to feign a fatal injury.
Delighted by the apparent sacrifice, General entered the cage, only to be ambushed by a resilient Qin Huai and a revived Chen Mo. They engaged General in a fierce struggle. Simultaneously, Ma Pingchuan, using Zhou You's computer, managed to interrupt the network signal, causing the motor holding the knife to Mu Tong's throat to stop just in the nick of time.
Peng Pai, realizing the system had been compromised, rushed back to investigate but was ambushed and knocked unconscious by Zhou You. Shortly after, the police, alerted by Zhou You, arrived and apprehended both General and Peng Pai. Fortunately, Qin Huai only sustained minor injuries to his hand from gripping the blade. Ma Pingchuan's timely repentance and cooperation, along with his wife's testimony, helped him receive a lighter sentence.
Later, Mu Tong handed a crucial memory card containing valuable information to Officer Guo. Qin Huai and Zhou You later met with Lin Shuo, hoping to recruit her to their team. Qin Huai made a strong case, emphasizing her strong will and professionalism, and highlighting how her legal expertise combined with their technology would create a perfect synergy. However, Lin Shuo politely declined the offer.
She explained that she had recently resigned from her previous firm to uphold her principles of fairness and equality, unwilling to be constrained by corporate interests. She expressed her desire to now focus on her research and complete her thesis. While disappointed, Qin Huai respected her decision, and Zhou You also mentioned he had to leave for a class he had enrolled in.
To celebrate their victory over General and their own survival, everyone gathered at Chen Mo's home for a celebratory dinner. Chen Mo joyfully announced that he and Mu Tong were getting engaged, to the delight and congratulations of their friends. Qin Huai toasted the couple, wishing them well and encouraging them to have a baby soon. After the festivities, Zhou You returned home for a heartfelt reunion with his parents, who welcomed him warmly.
Despite the dismantling of the Arsenal system, and the fact that the shares of Kai Gua Le Cybersecurity Company remained in the hands of their former senior brother, Qin Huai brought the team back to their company. They celebrated the reopening of Kai Gua Le, joyful that their fight against cybercrime and injustice would continue.
