Shen Chenyang told Gu Xiaoman that he had good news and bad news. The good news was that the instructor had been criticized and even admitted that he admired Gu Xiaoman. The bad news was that she had gone from being an internet sensation within the school to being officially recognized. Shen Chenyang thought the two of them were a perfect match.
Gu Xiaoman questioned why he had come, and when Shen Chenyang started talking nonsense again, she kicked him out of the room. Chi Yaola came to Zuo An’s school and happened to run into Zhan Yue. The two started bickering the moment they met. It turned out that Chi Yaola was also there to see Gu Xiaoman. Gu Xiaoman was happy, and she learned that Chi Yaola was studying languages at the neighboring school.

Later, Zuo An was going to Sun Anning’s house for a meal. Gu Xiaoman assumed he must be with her, so she called Chi Yaola, saying her confession had failed, and asked her to come drink with her. At the bar, Shen Chenyang was drinking gloomily and got targeted by some people. Chi Yaola told Gu Xiaoman she couldn’t make it after all. Just then, Gu Xiaoman saw Shen Chenyang being chased.
At first, she didn’t want to get involved, but she couldn’t just stand by. Shen Chenyang was chased into an underground parking lot, hiding here and there, but was eventually found. The thug’s girlfriend had approached Shen Chenyang first, but she lied, claiming Shen Chenyang had tried to seduce her.
