Yuan Yingxing, touched by Yao Fu's sincerity, presented her with Nine Golden Bells he had personally chosen. He explained that the bells symbolized having many children, revealing his profound desire for a future with her. Yao Fu, overwhelmed by his affection, hypothetically wondered if he would still care if she were to leave him forever. Yuan Yingxing firmly declared that such a day would never come, stating she still owed him a debt and he would never let her escape.

He then promised that peace talks with Yunmen could proceed if they sent representatives to Shengyue Sect, believing it would benefit his own sect. He sealed his intentions by presenting her with the Moon Blade and proposing they begin anew. However, the next morning, Yuan Yingxing awoke to find Yao Fu gone. Believing she had betrayed him, he immediately ordered Mount Yin sealed and a full search for her.

Meanwhile, Jiang Yan found Ling Yin, who was playfully admiring her newly painted nails. Jiang Yan apologized for the misunderstandings caused by his sect in Yunyin Village and confessed his deep feelings for her. He acknowledged her true benevolent nature as the Water Hall Master, despite the rumors and the conflict between their sects.

Ling Yin, flustered, rejected his advances, citing their incompatible backgrounds and her lingering resentment over past events, although she denied any affection for the Fire Hall Master. A heartbroken Jiang Yan departed. Shortly after, Mingyang arrived and became enraged upon hearing of Jiang Yan's confession. He scolded Ling Yin about the generation gap, accusing her of being an "old cow eating tender grass." Ling Yin retorted that Mingyang was too nosy, prompting him to storm off.

Later, Ling Yin discovered a drunken Mingyang, fueled by his frustrations, beating a thief. She attempted to calm him, but he clung to her, lamenting his inability to get over her. Ling Yin, moved by his distress, offered to help him back to rest. During a practice session, Wangyue returned to Yunmen after several days and offered a roast chicken to Senior Su, who had covered for her attendance.

Yang Qing, observing Wangyue's cheerful demeanor, called her out for not mastering several advanced techniques, accusing her of being distracted and neglecting her studies. He made her stay behind for extra practice. Once they were alone, Wangyue playfully suggested he was jealous of her talking to Senior Su. Yang Qing admitted his jealousy and offered to handle her sign-ins himself in the future. Their intimate moment culminated in Wangyue kissing him.

Their private exchange was abruptly interrupted by Jiang Yan, who arrived seeking Yang Qing. The two quickly hid, with Yang Qing denying Wangyue's presence. Jiang Yan then informed Yang Qing that Yao Fu had returned and the Sect Leader desired to see him at Yunxiao Hall. Wangyue’s sword was inadvertently left behind. Yao Fu's return to Yunmen brought immense relief to Feng Xingyun, who had worried for her safety during her time with Yuan Yingxing.

He inquired about the peace talks, learning that Yuan Yingxing, fearing an ambush, refused to come to Yunmen and proposed Mount Yin as an alternative location. Both Yang Qing and Yao Fu defended Yuan Yingxing's caution, citing Yunmen's past actions against Shengyue Sect. However, Feng Xingyun was more concerned about the pervasive rumors of an inappropriate relationship between Yunmen and Shengyue Sect.

To quell these rumors and secure the support of other sects for reconciliation, he shockingly proposed a marriage between Yang Qing and Yao Fu. Both vehemently rejected the idea, with Yang Qing declaring his intention to marry only Wangyue and challenging Yao Fu to admit her feelings for Yuan Yingxing. Feng Xingyun, frustrated, made the marriage a non-negotiable precondition for any peace talks.

Later, Feng Xingyun confided in Yao Fu about his anxieties regarding the tumultuous martial world and Yang Qing's increasingly secretive nature, revealing he had entrusted the Sun Blade to Yang Qing. He again pressed Yao Fu to marry Yang Qing, hoping it would allow him to "at ease entrust Yunmen and the Sun Blade" to them. For the greater good of Yunmen, Yao Fu reluctantly agreed to the marriage and promised to persuade Yang Qing.

Meanwhile, Wangyue and Ling Yin, acutely aware of the rapidly approaching deadline for peace talks, began to strategize for a direct theft of the Sun Blade should negotiations fail. Wangyue cleverly used a "Compliance Pill" provided by Ling Yin to extract crucial information from a drunken Senior Su, obtaining the Sect Leader's handprint required to open the Alliance Leader's Token box in Langhuan Pavilion.

She then instructed Ling Yin and Mingyang to prepare for a swift raid to steal the Sun Blade and rescue their people from Biluo Valley. Later, Wangyue confronted Yao Fu, provoking her into a fight. Yao Fu initially tried to de-escalate, citing her promise to Yang Qing not to harm Wangyue, but Wangyue's taunts escalated the conflict.

Wangyue, proving to be outmatched, was rescued by Yang Qing, who intervened, accusing Yao Fu of harming a Yunmen disciple and ordering her confined to her room for self-reflection. Yang Qing then chastised Wangyue for engaging in a fight where she was clearly outmatched. Wangyue was deeply moved by his protection, asking if he would always be so kind to her. Yang Qing affirmed his commitment.

However, Wangyue, still guarded, expressed her disbelief in eternal, unconditional love, explaining that while she enjoyed hearing his promises of everlasting devotion, she believed all love had conditions. Yang Qing then articulated his own condition: mutual understanding, tolerance, and reciprocal love from her. He warned that if his efforts were unreturned, he would eventually grow weary and unable to continue. Wangyue, in turn, reassured him, pledging to reciprocate his love and ensure their relationship would not lead to his exhaustion.

Later that night, Wangyue and Yang Qing shared a drink. Yang Qing, knowing Wangyue was hiding something, pressed her to reveal her true feelings. Wangyue, feeling she owed him, confessed her initial plan to drug his wine to steal his token and find the Sun Blade. However, she admitted she couldn't bring herself to use him. This honest exchange deepened their understanding and brought them closer. Afterward, Yang Qing took Wangyue to the rooftop to gaze at the night sky.

Wangyue playfully teased him about marriage, feigning interest in attending her own wedding, which made Yang Qing visibly jealous. Taking this opportunity, Wangyue sincerely expressed her desire to spend her life with Yang Qing, stating he was the only person she had ever truly trusted. The Yunmen Grand Ceremony commenced with all disciples gathering to worship their ancestors, joined by leaders from various martial sects. Wangyue noticed Yang Qing wearing clothes identical to Yao Fu’s.

He explained that the Sect Leader intended to formally introduce them to the gathered disciples. Wangyue, suspecting an announcement of their engagement, complimented his charming appearance but lamented her inability to stand beside him as his "only one." Yang Qing invited her closer for a hug, and she subtly managed to stain his ceremonial clothes. A disciple then reminded Yang Qing that the Sect Leader was waiting, and Yang Qing, seeing through Wangyue’s satisfied smirk, changed his attire.

Concurrently, Lu Xuanxuan's father, the Chief Lu, assured his daughter that Yunmen's current arrogance would be short-lived, confident in their "irrefutable evidence" and their plan to eliminate Shengyue Sect, although his own primary focus remained on using children as sacrifices. During the ceremony, Yang Qing boldly proposed reconciliation with Shengyue Sect, highlighting their past contributions to peace and recent charitable actions. His proposal was met with outrage from other sect leaders, who accused Yunmen of becoming an "evil sect."

Lu Xuanxuan then publicly challenged Yang Qing’s motives, declaring his proposal was born of selfish desires rather than justice, and demanded that Yunmen disciple Yang Wangyue be brought to the hall for an important announcement.
