Woodz (Cho Seungyeon,조승연), born on August 5, 1996, in South Korea, is a South Korean singer and music producer. He was formerly a member of the Sino-Korean boy group UNIQ and the South Korean boy group X1.
In October 2014, he officially debuted with the group on Mnet's music program "M! Countdown"; in November, he debuted with the group in China.
In May 2016, he participated in the audition program "Show Me The Money 5"; in July, he debuted solo under the name Luizy, releasing his first collaborative single "RECIPE". In May 2018, he released the solo single “POOL” under the name WOODZ.
In May 2019, he participated in the audition program “PRODUCE X 101” as a trainee, ultimately securing 5th place. In August, he re-debuted with boy group X1 through their first mini-album “FLY: QUANTUM LEAP.”
