Based on Xiaopeng's description, Shen Yi drew a middle-aged man. This person was clearly not Yun Lei. Currently, it can be confirmed that the intentional injury case and the child abuse case involve the same group of suspects. It is not ruled out that this group first kidnapped Liu Xiaopeng, and then stabbed Liu Qiang who came to rescue Xiaopeng. Du Cheng asked Jiang Feng to release Yun Lei and the others, and then have a few people follow them.

If someone was truly instigating, Yun Lei and the others would definitely go to see this person after they were released. Shen Yi discovered an entrance and followed it to a garbage dump. There were signs of life there, and it had been decorated by Yun Lei into a paradise. It should be where Yun Lei and Xiaopeng lived. Meanwhile, Jiang Feng took people to track Yun Lei and his group. Noticing signs of a physical altercation, he immediately called for backup. In the chaos, Yun Lei escaped at some point.

The police used technical means to track Yun Lei to a hospital. Du Cheng suspected Yun Lei wanted to attack Liu Qiang again. After obtaining Director Zhang's consent, Du Cheng took people to the hospital to prevent it. Shen Yi took paints to see Xiaopeng and asked him to color the portrait of Liu Qiang. Just as Shen Yi had expected, Xiaopeng used only negative colors like blue, purple, and green. By the end, Xiaopeng broke down and cried loudly.

Clearly, Xiaopeng's biological father, Liu Qiang, was not good to Xiaopeng. On the other side, the police interrogated Yun Lei's brothers and learned that when Yun Lei found Xiaopeng, Liu Qiang had already beaten him severely, leaving few parts of his body without injury. Yun Lei insisted on keeping Xiaopeng and injured Liu Qiang, who had come looking for Liu Xiaopeng, because of this. Now, for Xiaopeng's sake, he was going to the hospital to kill Liu Qiang.

The emotionally agitated Yun Lei held a nurse hostage in the hospital. The door's circuit was special and couldn't be easily cut off. Du Cheng called Shen Yi, hoping he could bring Xiaopeng. But Shen Yi didn't bring Xiaopeng; instead, he brought the portrait of Yun Lei colored by Xiaopeng. Shen Yi saw through Yun Lei and Xiaopeng's secret.

Yun Lei's psychological defense line collapsed, he lowered his guard, dropped the knife, and was brought under control by the police, ultimately preventing a major disaster. During the subsequent interrogation, Yun Lei confessed that he didn't want Xiaopeng to end up like him, whose daily life consisted of picking up trash and fighting. He wanted to save money for Xiaopeng to go to school so that when he grew up, he could participate in the Paralympic Games.

Yun Lei and Xiaopeng were each other's salvation, each other's concern. Before, Liu Qiang had found Xiaopeng and tried to take him home. Yun Lei arrived in time to stop him. Liu Qiang and Yun Lei got into a fight. Yun Lei was choked by the strong Liu Qiang. Xiaopeng tried to help but was pushed away by Liu Qiang, and his abdomen was pierced by a branch on the ground.

Yun Lei fought back, picked up the knife he had on him, and stabbed Liu Qiang in the abdomen, saving Xiaopeng and getting him away. This led to the events that followed. Liu Qiang will be severely punished by law. Liu Xiaopeng, the poor child, will be sent by Du Cheng and Shen Yi to a suitable place to live. Xiaopeng touched them, remembering what they looked like.
