Du Cheng and Shen Yi found ox blood and Prussian blue in Su Youliang's rental room, confirming that Su Youliang knew he was poisoned with thallium and had made an antidote. After preliminary confirmation, Su Youliang chose to shield the person who poisoned him, even though he knew he had been poisoned. Shen Yi also understood the meaning of the base layer tattoo on Su Youliang's body, and he went to talk to Lin Xiaoyin again.

This time he did not directly state his intention but first asked Lin Xiaoyin to read the relationship between two friends for him. Initially, Lin Xiaoyin did not realize that these two people were herself and her fiancé, Su Youliang. Later, Shen Yi's additions made her certain that he was referring to herself and Su Youliang, and she did not want to continue.

However, Shen Yi did not give her a chance to avoid it and spoke about the girl's subsequent state of mind and actions. Lin Xiaoyin's thoughts were exposed, and her expression changed immediately. On the night Su Youliang died, the coast guard intercepted a fishing boat used for human smuggling. The captain confessed that these boats were engaged in illegal transplant business, with many smuggled individuals having completed matching and coming to extract bone marrow, a round trip on the same day, similar in nature to the black market.

Shen Yi reviewed the recorder carried by the paramedics that day and discovered that An Luran had a piece of clothing dyed ginger yellow using pure natural plant dyes. The characteristic of ginger yellow is that it turns red when exposed to alkali and returns to yellow when exposed to acid. The reason for the yellow trace on the garment should be that An Luran had contact with seawater and then passed through some kind of acidic environment.

Li Han also found that only this area of the garden was sprayed with acidic pesticides on the day of the incident. Therefore, Shen Yi came here and unexpectedly met Du Cheng, Jiang Feng, and others who were tracking An Luran and had discovered Tang Keying. However, they came up empty-handed and did not find any illegal actions by An Luran.

Superiors discovered that the cases and background involving Huaan Medical Center were complex, so Director Zhang gave instructions to Du Cheng. An Luran planned to leave and needed Tang Keying to help her obtain the core data and experimental results related to embryo gene editing. That night, Tang Keying did not attend the dinner engagement and returned to the research institute alone, intending to steal the data. She was discovered by Shen Yi, and her plan did not succeed. Shen Yi advised her to turn over a new leaf, but Tang Keying said nothing and left.
