Du Cheng and Shen Yi went to find Lin Xiaoyin, who claimed to be Su Youliang's fiancée, to understand more specific details. Su Youliang was scouted by An Luran during campus recruitment in his second year of graduate school, and then, through the introduction of his senior sister Tang Keying, he became An Luran's intern. Lin Xiaoyin knew about the relationship between Su Youliang and An Luran from the beginning.

The reason she chose to stay with Su Youliang was that she wanted to save Su Youliang, who had been misguided by An Luran.
