> Tribes and Empires: Storm of Prophecy Recap

Empress Nanku Mingyi visits Emperor Muyun Qin, congratulating him and informing him that Muyun Sheng has learned about past palace secrets. She warns Muyun Qin to be cautious of Muyun Sheng, stating his human side is more terrifying than his spirit side, and suggests his neglect for years might have made him cold. Muyun Qin believes she is acting out of resentment over Muyun Hego's situation and deliberately led Muyun Sheng to discover the truth.

Empress Nanku Mingyi denies this, instead blaming Mu Ruhanjiang and the Muru family for Muyun Sheng knowing the truth, and reminds Muyun Qin of Ling Heqing's star predictions and her consistent support. Muyun Qin, however, expresses a desire to openly acknowledge Muyun Sheng, believing blood ties are stronger. Emperor Muyun Qin bestows an armor set and various items, including a long sword, upon Muyun Sheng.

However, Muyun Sheng goes to the Emperor's chambers, requesting to be confined with his mother, Yin Rong, in Yongyin Palace. He argues that Yin Rong committed no wrong and should not suffer, and he does not want others in the palace to resent him. Muyun Qin, saddened by memories of Yin Rong's past words, initially shows emotion but quickly reverts to his cold demeanor, telling Muyun Sheng he only has the right to speak such words when he wields power.

Muyun Sheng expresses his disgust for the palace and declares he will not become like Muyun Qin, who would harm family for power, and refuses to participate in the upcoming hunt. Enraged by Muyun Sheng's attitude, Muyun Qin strikes him. Following this, Muyun Sheng returns to his residence, furious, throwing the armor, and confiding his deep aversion to the palace life in Mu Ruhanjiang.

Mu Ruhanjiang, seeing Muyun Sheng's unhappiness, devises a plan to help him escape the palace during the upcoming imperial hunt. Muyun Luan and Nanku Qi secretly meet to conspire. Muyun Luan plans to forge a letter from Muru Suo to his wife, aiming to frame Muru Suo for rebellion.

He believes that without the Muru family's support, Emperor Muyun Qin, despite his abilities, would be unable to resist the combined power of Muyun Luan and the Nanku family, allowing them to seize control of the empire. Concurrently, Nanku De, the Nanku family head, travels with Mo Yuchen towards Deer Call Mountain for the imperial hunt. Nanku De discusses his plan to use his daughter, Empress Nanku Mingyi's status, to introduce Mr. Mo to Muyun Qin.

Mr. Mo, for his part, pledges to rally forces from Lanzhou and Wanzhou to support Muyun Hego in his bid for the throne and is confident that the Muru family's name will soon vanish from Kyushu. Nanku De also advises Empress Nanku Mingyi to be patient and avoid angering Muyun Qin, as the palace is a "cage of fierce beasts," and the Nanku family must secure its position as the empire's leading family.

As the imperial hunt commences at Deer Call Mountain, Muyun Yanshuang, leading the Muyun Silver Armor, is responsible for defense and drills her troops. Shuofeng Heye, who is with her, makes rude remarks, mocking her for being a woman who acts like a man. They engage in a fight, during which Shuofeng Heye is momentarily captivated by her beauty, allowing Muyun Yanshuang to gain the upper hand. She orders him to be hung upside down from a frame.

Despite his predicament, Shuofeng Heye remains defiant, declaring that he will make her his "Great Empress Consort." Muyun Yanshuang, angered by his boldness, then orders him to be confined in a cage. Mu Ruhanjiang takes Muyun Sheng away from the army encampment in an attempt to escape. However, they are pursued and apprehended by Muru Suo and his Muru family warriors.

Muyun Sheng expresses his firm resolve not to return to the palace, but Muru Suo orders Mu Ruhanjiang to be seized and tied up, even dragged by a horse, under the pretense of kidnapping a prince. Seeing his friend in danger, Muyun Sheng, despite his reluctance and viewing Mu Ruhanjiang as a friend, is forced to compromise with Muru Suo and return to the encampment.

At the encampment, Emperor Muyun Qin addresses the assembled crowd, proclaiming that while the Muyun family is not inherently warlike, neglecting the art of war is perilous, hence the imperial hunts serve as military exercises. Muyun Sheng, full of rage, confronts Muyun Qin, demanding Mu Ruhanjiang's release. Muyun Qin defends Muru Suo's actions, stating that kidnapping a prince is a grave offense.

Muyun Sheng publicly denounces both Muyun Qin and Muru Suo as heartless and cruel, expressing his shame and disgust for Muyun Qin and the imperial palace. Enraged, Muyun Qin draws his sword, but Muyun Sheng defiantly walks towards the blade, mirroring the way Yin Rong once did. This act causes Muyun Qin to recall the painful memory of harming Yin Rong.

Muyun Sheng questions what goes through one's mind when acting with malice towards others, expresses profound disappointment in his father, and leaves the tent camp. Though dejected, Muyun Qin, concerned for Muyun Sheng's safety, orders guards to closely watch him to prevent any harm. Mu Ruhanjiang is subsequently confined in a cage, where he joyfully encounters Shuofeng Heye, who is already imprisoned there.

Meanwhile, an old man in an adjacent cage observes Muyun Sheng passing by and expresses astonishment upon realizing he is a half-human, half-spirit descendant. Muyun Lu gathers wild flowers and presents them to Su Yuning, sparking intense jealousy in Nanku Yueli. Nanku Yueli attempts to manipulate Muyun Lu into taking her to the flower-picking spot, but he politely declines.

Angered, Nanku Yueli lashes out, claiming Muyun Lu is only approaching Su Yuning because of her destiny to become empress, and he only seeks the throne, adding that Muyun Lu is less important to the Emperor than Muyun Han. This infuriates Muyun Lu, who promptly leaves.

Nanku Yueli then dismisses her servants and physically assaults Su Yuning, warning her that if she does not concede the future emperor to her, Nanku Yueli will reveal that Su Yuning knew Mu Ruhanjiang before entering the palace. Having endured Nanku Yueli's bullying for too long, Su Yuning retaliates, slapping Nanku Yueli multiple times. Later, Nanku Yueli rushes into the Empress's tent, making false accusations against Su Yuning and demanding the Empress to intervene on her behalf.

Empress Nanku Mingyi, aware of Nanku Yueli's temperamental nature, simply tells her not to provoke Su Yuning again. Nanku Yueli then inadvertently offends the Empress by blurting out that Muyun Hego has been demoted to Lanzhou and no longer has any chance at the throne.

This statement enrages the Empress, who immediately punishes Nanku Yueli by ordering Wu Ruyi to drag her out to kneel for an hour, further decreeing that Nanku Yueli is forbidden from an audience without explicit summons. That night, Muyun Sheng secretly rescues both Mu Ruhanjiang and Shuofeng Heye from their confinement. The three escape together, agreeing to roam the world, and seek refuge in a mountain cave, where they build a fire to rest.

During their conversation, Shuofeng Heye inadvertently learns from Muyun Sheng about Mu Ruhanjiang's connection to the Muru family, which visibly saddens him. He then recalls the deaths of his parents and tribe members, and shares the story of Shuofeng Da and Longge Danzhu with Muyun Sheng and Mu Ruhanjiang.
