In the main camp of the Hela tribe in Hanzhou, Tie Yuan gathers the soldiers and proclaims that they will avenge the Mu Ru cavalry who rely on women to achieve victory. He binds Muyun Yanshuang to a wooden stake, and she sees Tie Yuan dousing Zi Yan with wine.
Muyun Yanshuang asks Shuofeng Heye where the most beautiful sunrise in Hanzhou can be seen, expressing her wish to be buried in Shuofang Yuan after her death to be reborn in Hanzhou. Shuofeng Heye says she is not worthy and chokes her, but Muyun Yanshuang smiles, stating she has fulfilled her wish to see him in her final moments. Tie Yuan intervenes, preventing Shuofeng Heye from killing her, believing she is still useful.
In the Mu Ru military camp, Muyun Han accuses Mu Ru Shuo of using Muyun Yanshuang as bait to locate the Hela tribe's main camp. Mu Ru Shuo entrusts the Pi Tian Sword, a symbol of Mu Ru military power, to Muyun Han and announces his plan to lead a thousand cavalry in a night raid on the Hela camp to rescue Muyun Yanshuang. He asks Muyun Han to lead the main force.
Mu Ru Shuo emphasizes that the Mu Ru family must win this battle, otherwise their legacy will be lost. Muyun Han objects to endangering Muyun Yanshuang's life but is forced to accept the situation. In Tianqi City, Muyun Qin and Muyun Sheng reconcile, discussing the "Tianqi Kuangxue Map." Muyun Qin expresses his desire for Muyun Sheng to visit the palace more often.
Muyun Hego arrives to bid farewell before departing for Hanzhou for negotiations, seeking Muyun Qin's guidance, but Muyun Qin refuses to see him, fearing he will be unable to let him go. She is saddened by her disfigured appearance and smashes a mirror in frustration. Qin Yu Feng comforts her, saying that a strong spirit is more important than beauty, and offers to ease her troubles. Lan Yu'er informs Nanku Yueli of Muyun Hego's impending arrival.
Nanku Yueli, invoking a past favor, instructs Lan Yu'er to deliver a letter to Xue Huo, warning her to be cautious. Nanku Yueli demands that Muyun Luan accompany her to meet Muyun Hego and claim that he has been taking care of her all these years. Muyun Luan is skeptical, but Nanku Yueli reveals her disfigured face, confident that Muyun Hego will believe her.
Muyun Luan admires her courage and reiterates his desire to provide for her, stating she reminds him of someone from the past. Muyun Hego hosts a banquet at the Kyushu Inn, but no one attends. He asks Lan Yu'er if anyone will come, but she is afraid to answer. Muyun Hego believes that someone will arrive eventually. Nanku Yueli covers her face with a veil. She says Qin Yu Feng is not worthy of liking her. She asks Qin Yu Feng if her current face is ugly. He says those things aren't important.
