To definitively distance himself from Fang Qiao, Shi Liansen informed Lin Lu that they needed to live together and officially announce their relationship. Lin Lu firmly refused, stating they were not a real couple and that her conservative mother would be furious, threatening to break both their legs if she found out. Shi Liansen, undeterred, pressed the issue at Lin Lu's home, insisting that visiting his "girlfriend's" relatives was normal.
Lin Lu continued to remind him their relationship was fake, reiterating her mother's potential wrath. After some deliberation, Lin Lu told him she needed time to consider living together, but Shi Liansen reminded her of her brand ambassador obligations. Lin Lu, still suspicious, agreed. During this time, Fang Qiao, still determined to win Shi Liansen back, had conversations with others about him, asserting that she could offer him more than Lin Lu ever could.
Shi Liansen then began to harass Lin Lu to coerce her into moving in. He ordered her to work overtime with him, despite her protests about the contract, leading her to internally curse him as an "evil capitalist" and "exploiter." He made her prepare coffee, then rejected it for water, which she intentionally spilled on him, apologizing insincerely while offering to clean it. He also woke her from sleep by splashing water on her to "refresh" her.
After a long day, he called her on her phone, telling her he was downstairs and warning her of consequences if she didn't come down. She begrudgingly got into his car, realizing he was using the threat of liquidated damages again. She continued to resist, even as he brushed her hair while she slept, but upon waking, she recognized his tactic, still adamantly refusing to live with him.

He warned her that if these "stealthies" of her living in another man's house were to surface and expose their contract, it would lead to accusations of her cheating on him, poor product sales, and substantial losses for Huanzhen. He reminded her that by signing the contract, she could no longer live like a common person.
Lin Lu, shocked by the situation and his claim that she would be responsible for "Ten billion" in damages, instantly capitulated. Following the ultimatum, Lin Lu immediately returned to pack her belongings. Her housemate, Liang Zhi, expressed his reluctance to see her go, telling her he would always be there if she missed him and promising to avenge her if she were ever bullied.
Conversely, Shen Jing, while verbally expressing reluctance, was secretly delighted, pushing Lin Lu to leave quickly and congratulating her on this "key step" towards becoming a "princess" with an impending wedding. Shen Jing also handled a phone call, mentioning prepared documents and needing someone found, suggesting she was involved in her own schemes. Having moved into Shi Liansen's mansion, Lin Lu immediately recognized his mysophobia and obsessive-compulsive tendencies, openly mocking his taste in movies.
Deciding to provoke him, she deliberately scattered her belongings around the house, claiming there was a "hidden order" only she understood, and loudly sang off-key, performing a song about a "little dolphin" and "how close we were to love." Meanwhile, Fang Qiao, still grappling with her feelings, discussed her strategy with a companion by the sea.
Her companion noted that the more Fang Qiao pursued Shi Liansen, the more intimate he seemed to become with Lin Lu. The companion advised Fang Qiao to step back for a while and suggested a trip to Turkey, Tokyo, and Paris. Fang Qiao, however, remained determined, stating that she would eventually make Shi Liansen realize that what she could offer him was far more than he could imagine.
