As Bai Cao and her friends excitedly played by the pool, Chang An rested alone on a lounge chair. Ting Hao approached Chang An, asking when he planned to leave Song Bai. Ting Hao then demanded that Chang An leave An Yang by tomorrow, accusing his training methods of being harsh and cold. He threatened to expose Chang An's past actions if he refused to leave, warning him against turning Bai Cao into a violent person.

Chang An, unfazed, challenged Ting Hao to reveal everything, confident that Bai Cao would not abandon him. Meanwhile, Bai Cao, lost in thought about Ruo Bai, unconsciously slipped deeper into the pool. Seeing her unresponsive underwater, Chang An, believing she was drowning, immediately dove in and pulled her out. Ting Hao and the others rushed to her side. An irritated Chang An told Bai Cao that she no longer needed to attend his training sessions.

Ting Hao then took Bai Cao to change clothes, cautioning her to stay away from Chang An, whom he called too dangerous. He gently blew dry her hair, but Bai Cao, feeling awkward, quickly left. Later, Bai Cao returned to Chang An, who reiterated his decision to stop training her. He admonished her for risking her life for someone already dead, saying her actions were no different from suicide.

Bai Cao insisted she was not suicidal and that Ruo Bai was still alive. She pleaded with Chang An to continue training her, reminding him of his promise to help her reach the World Youth Championship. Chang An remained resolute, stating he had no interest in wasting time on meaningless endeavors, and forbid her from appearing at the training hall again. At home, Ting Hao vented his anger by drumming, still fuming over Chang An holding Bai Cao.

Guang Ya, who was with him, tried to comfort him as Ting Hao expressed his frustration at being unable to forget Bai Cao. Back at the dorm, Bai Cao was distraught over Chang An's refusal to train her. Xiao Ying returned from a particularly grueling session, complaining about Chang An's "devil training." Bai Cao asked Xiao Ying for advice on how to get Chang An to change his mind. Xiao Ying suggested appealing to his interests.

This sparked a memory in Bai Cao of seeing wood carving tools in Chang An's room. She then went to the market, bought a piece of wood, and presented it to Chang An. She humbly requested to resume training. Chang An, after initially dismissing the wood as not being of good quality, accepted it and agreed to continue her training.

However, he warned her that the new regimen would be even more brutal: she would either become a "superior product" or be "eliminated as a defective product." Soon after, Yi Feng prepared to leave for the United States to meet Chu Yuan and thoroughly investigate Ruo Bai's disappearance. Bai Cao and Xiao Ying saw him off, expressing their sadness at his departure, but Yi Feng reassured them he would return soon and clarify everything about Ruo Bai.

Upon her return to the training hall, Chang An subjected Bai Cao to an even more intense and cruel training. Despite the severity, Bai Cao excelled, winning several Pretty Girls Tournaments. Her friends, including Xiao Ying, grew increasingly concerned about Bai Cao's well-being, fearing she might become "possessed" by the relentless training. When Xiao Ying tried to interrupt Bai Cao's training, Chang An stopped her.

At that moment, Ting Hao appeared, urging Chang An to stop, declaring he would not allow anyone from Song Bai to suffer the same fate as Xing Yao. When Chang An ignored him, Ting Hao challenged him to a fight. The two powerful martial artists clashed, initially matching each other's strength. However, Chang An's right leg suddenly faltered.

Ting Hao revealed that Chang An's leg was permanently damaged, a consequence of his extreme training, and asserted he would never entrust Bai Cao to such a coach. Ting Hao then forcibly took Bai Cao away. Chang An, frustrated and pained by his leg injury, shouted Bai Cao's name, but was unable to pursue them. Later, Ting Hao took Bai Cao to a restaurant.

He earnestly explained that Chang An’s training methods were dangerous and extreme, warning her that she might become hostile and crave violence. Bai Cao defended Chang An, stating that his methods, though harsh, were necessary for her rapid improvement and to prepare her for high-intensity competitions. Ting Hao also noted the severe bruises on her arms.

He ordered her favorite beef noodle soup, the kind Ruo Bai used to say she loved, but Bai Cao remained anxious to return to training. Ting Hao then offered to take her to see Ruo Bai. With Bai Cao in tow, Ting Hao drove her to a secluded lake beneath a starlit sky, claiming his car had run out of gas.

He encouraged her to speak to the stars, assuring her that they would convey her words to Ruo Bai, wherever he might be. Bai Cao, overcome with emotion, cried out for Ruo Bai, expressing her profound longing and confusion as to why he wouldn't return despite her relentless efforts. Ting Hao tenderly embraced her, silently asking Ruo Bai for permission to care for Bai Cao from now on. Meanwhile, Chang An remained at the training hall, waiting for Bai Cao’s return.
