In the An Yang elegibility competition, the Song Bai team takes the stage. Yi Feng effortlessly wins the first round. In the second round, Xiu Da fights valiantly, repeatedly knocked down but refusing to concede for the honor of Song Bai. Coach Chang An eventually steps in to take him off the mat, telling him to rest. Xiao Ying is slated for the third round, which is Song Bai's last chance.

However, Bai Cao offers to replace her to protect the dojo. During Bai Cao's match, she displays agile footwork but hesitates to attack when her opponent momentarily appears as Ting Yi, leading her to retract her leg and only defend. During the mid-match break, Bai Cao recalls Ting Yi's encouraging words about being able to walk again and her unwavering passion for Yuan Wu Dao. This rekindles Bai Cao's fighting spirit.

She seeks advice from Chang An, who suggests she close her eyes to avoid seeing Ting Yi in her opponent. Bai Cao follows his advice, surprising everyone by fighting with her eyes closed. Relying on her instincts, she successfully evades her opponent's attacks and lands a kick, ultimately winning the match as her opponent fails to hit her. The crowd erupts in cheers, and a seasoned coach remarks that Bai Cao resembles an ancient Yuan Wu Dao master.

After the victory, Bai Cao visits Ting Yi in the hospital. Ting Yi congratulates her but expresses a bittersweet jealousy, wishing she could return to the ring herself. To celebrate Bai Cao's win, the group gathers for a meal. Chang An thoughtfully peels chestnuts for Bai Cao, much to Xiao Ying's envy. Later, Bai Cao asks Chang An to help her continue her Yuan Wu Dao training.

During their practice sessions, Bai Cao struggles to attack due to her lingering mental block, again wanting to close her eyes. Chang An insists she keep her eyes open, explaining that fighting with closed eyes is not a sustainable solution and was only effective due to her previous opponent's average skill. He even intentionally gets close to her, urging her to open her eyes and attack him.

At one point, Bai Cao loses her balance and falls backward, but Chang An quickly catches her. After training, Chang An leans in and kisses Bai Cao's brow, then her eyes, causing her to be flustered but not refuse. Chang An is subtly pleased, and the affection between them deepens. Bai Cao later reflects on their moments together, looking at the figurines Chang An made, while Chang An, in his room, also contemplates their shared past.

The next day, Chang An takes Bai Cao to find a Yuan Wu Dao master. Ting Hao, observing their closeness from his car outside the Song Bai dojo, feels a pang of disappointment.
