Bai Cao regrets her three-month trial relationship with Ting Hao and wants to end it, a decision supported by Xiao Ying, who senses a growing connection between Bai Cao and Coach Chang An. Bai Cao herself realizes Chang An has already made a significant impression on her heart. Chang An, worried about Bai Cao's leg injury, initially tries to make her withdraw from the National Youth Competition.

He shares his past experience: his own leg was initially only slightly injured, but repeated competitions, crucial for Feng Yun, gradually worsened it. He eventually won the professional league, but in Feng Yun Martial Arts Hall's "Strongest Battle," his most trusted person defeated him by exploiting his injured leg, leaving him with a leg containing steel nails. Chang An advises Bai Cao to prioritize her leg and consider abandoning the competition.

However, Bai Cao insists on competing, believing her Yuan Wu Dao dream and the expectations of her friends are paramount. She trusts that even if she is injured or loses, her Song Bai teammates, and now Coach Chang An, would never abandon her, providing her with the motivation to continue.

Chang An eventually agrees to help Bai Cao train, focusing on strengthening her left leg while her right leg provides support, warning her not to use her right leg to generate power during matches. He affirms that he does not regret his past choices. During a training session, Bai Cao's right leg hurts, prompting Ting Hao to intervene, accusing Chang An of endangering Bai Cao.

Bai Cao then officially ends her trial relationship with Ting Hao, explaining that she only sees him as a friend. Ting Hao, believing she is influenced by Chang An, confesses he was the one who withdrew her registration for the London Competition, not Fei Yu, and reveals that Chang An, not Ting Hao and Ye Chong, secured victory for Song Bai in the Singapore Three People Tournament by sacrificing his own right leg.

This revelation deeply concerns Bai Cao about Chang An's recurring injury. Later, while Chang An massages Bai Cao's leg, she gives him a traditional Chinese medicine pack for chronic ailments, expressing hope they can both work together to return to the arena. Meanwhile, Ting Yi returns to An Yang for the competition but avoids going home, choosing instead to train intensely at Feng Yun Martial Arts Hall. Ting Hao confronts her, urging her to come home.

Ting Yi dismisses him, stating that no one can stop her from becoming the strongest, and pointedly asks Ting Hao who he wishes to win the National Youth Competition, her or Bai Cao, leaving him speechless. The preliminaries for the National Youth Competition begin. Both Bai Cao, who defeats Jia Teng Xiao Bai He, and Ting Yi, who swiftly knocks out an opponent in five seconds with her "Thunder Cherry Blossom Kick," advance with overwhelming strength. Ting Hao, however, worries about Ting Yi's increasingly ruthless fighting style, fearing she might lose herself.
