Ye Chong was moved, releasing Chang An from pressure to leave and expressing his pride in Fei Yu's growth and ability to act conscientiously, despite Yin Xiu's warning that Chang An's departure was necessary for the Singapore three-person competition to proceed. Chang An stayed, and everyone celebrated like a true family.
Chang An crafted wooden figures of the Pine Tree teammates for Bai Cao, which she adored as a family portrait. Upon noticing Chang An's figure was missing, Bai Cao asked him to create one for himself to complete the family. Shortly after, Ting Hao called Bai Cao, insisting she come to see him, which she did with urgency after hearing him accidentally knock things over.
For the Singapore three-person competition, Chang An selected Bai Cao and Yi Feng as automatic entries. For the third spot, he chose Xiao Ying due to her light weight, despite initial doubts among others, with Xiao Ying determined to prove herself.
