She warned him, "If you dare to possess me while I sleep, you won't get your physical body back," to deter him from entering her body again. Ye Chenyuan scoffed, "You're overestimating yourself, aren't you? Your filthy body, I refuse to enter it again."
He then mocked her for willingly accepting punishment when she was blameless, saying, "I've never met anyone as foolish as you. Voluntarily seeking punishment?" He demanded that once she recovered, they would go to the Divine Sword to retrieve his physical body. The next day, during the Immortal Sect Assembly, the Immortal Lord announced the Divine Sword Trial Assembly. He explained that 300 years had passed and the Night Deity had fully resurrected, making his re-sealing urgent.
