Luo Manni quickly reassured her grandfather, promising to handle the situation with Ming Xiu herself and urging him not to let it affect his health.
Li Jiashang took Su Yi to a boxing gym, teaching her how to punch, ostensibly for self-defense and stress relief. While there, Su Yi expressed her concern over the negative public opinion, which was severely impacting both the Lee Group and Ming Xiu, especially the upcoming new product launch. She felt it was necessary to address the public's sentiments.
Li Jiashang, touched by her dedication to her work, encouraged her not to let negativity deter her, reminding her that public memory is short. Later, as Su Yi approached Ming Xiu, she received a call from Chen Jin, warning her to be cautious as a crowd of agitators had gathered downstairs. Disregarding the warning, Su Yi directly confronted the crowd, promising them a satisfactory answer. Returning inside, Su Yi sought out Chu Mo, who had returned to deal with the public outcry surrounding her leaked photos. Su Yi requested him to approve her resignation. Chu Mo reluctantly agreed to her resignation but cautioned her to be vigilant, as her makeup-free photo might have led to others recognizing her true identity, Mu Xiao. Su Yi, however, reassured them, mentioning that Luo Manni would now be in charge of Ming Xiu and that the company was in capable hands. Relaxing by a pool with Xia Xiyang, Su Yi appeared unconcerned by the rampant gossip about her. Xia Xiyang, however, was indignant about Tao Feilin's actions and the perceived injustice.
Su Yi, calm and collected, assured her friend that she was not one to passively endure hardship and hinted at a plan to confront those who had wronged her. Li Jiashang arrived at the pool, questioning Su Yi’s decision to resign. Su Yi countered that her resignation was what the Lee Group desired, suggesting it was the only viable solution given the circumstances. Xia Xiyang, returning with drinks, was enraged to find Li Jiashang confronting Su Yi.
She angrily accused him of allowing his grandfather to bully Su Yi, referencing an earlier incident where Li Yaohui had forced Su Yi to sign an agreement to protect the Lee Group's reputation. Li Jiashang, having been unaware of his grandfather's direct involvement, apologized sincerely to Su Yi. Later, Li Jiashang drove Su Yi home. As they shared a tender moment in the car, almost kissing, Su Xiangtai suddenly appeared, interrupting them. Su Xiangtai playfully asserted his protective role, refusing to accept Li Jiashang as his brother-in-law and insisting that Su Yi return home with him.
To avoid an argument, Su Yi quickly got out of the car and went inside with her brother. Su Xiangtai later confessed that he hadn't seen Su Yi smile so genuinely in a long time and promised to always be her rock. Meanwhile, Li Jiashang met with Zheng He to discuss Zhu Yue's research project. Zheng He explained that the project was rejected due to its misalignment with market trends and excessive budget.
Suspecting Zhu Yue knew more, Li Jiashang visited the psychiatric hospital, only to learn that Zhu Yue had been taken by his family the previous day, supposedly for better medical care abroad. He also discovered that Zhu Yue had met with Zheng Yi, head of Haiyi Private Hospital, shortly before his departure.

The audience reacted with gasps and exclamations, while Tao Feilin watched in stunned disbelief, realizing she had been outmaneuvered. Watching the announcement unfold live on television, Li Yaohui was so enraged that he suffered a heart attack. Immediately after their public appearance, Li Jiashang's subordinate urgently called him away to the hospital, informing him of his grandfather's condition.
