Synopsis
Fang Kun, a graduate student from the Archaeology Department of Qinchuan University, assists in tracing cultural relics lost overseas and suspects that the hidden tomb in the village of Changleyuan may be the mausoleum of Emperor Yong'an. His mentor, Zan Maochang, accompanies him for an on-site investigation but tragically loses his life.
Carrying his mentor’s wish, Fang Kun volunteers to support archaeological efforts in Tibet. The unknown tomb in Changleyuan draws the attention of archaeologists, and Fang Kun is invited to join the investigation. There, he reunites with his former lover, Luo Qing, now the team leader. They discover a mysterious "Ya-shaped" tomb. Fang Kun revisits his past hypothesis, sparking both academic debate and criminal interest.
Together with Luo Qing and police officer Qi Dacang, Fang Kun mobilizes local residents to participate in cultural relic protection, engaging in a battle of wits against criminals. Their efforts lead to the successful safeguarding of the tomb and surrounding ruins in Changleyuan, and the Yong'an Emperor’s mausoleum is confirmed as a major archaeological discovery.
