The First Shot Episode 9 Recap
> The First Shot Recap
The special task force members went undercover to investigate the Lan Jiguang club, discovering that it was decorated in a luxurious and high-end Egyptian style. Because the items in the club were expensive and problematic, Zheng Bei deliberately put tea water into liquor bottles so that they looked just like alcohol. Zheng Bei pretended to be completely drunk and discovered that this place openly displayed ecstasy pills on dinner plates, serving them alongside drinks and melon seeds.
Jiang Xiaohai's brother-in-law, Wang Jianmin, accompanied the factory director for drinks. Unexpectedly, the business partner brought drugs and forced Wang Jianmin to use them, even pulling in girls from the club. Just then, the club manager came over to help the girls, telling the factory director that if he needed someone to accompany him in drug use, he could find a professional.
However, seeing the factory director's arrogant attitude, he immediately killed him and Wang Jianmin along with others present, ordering his subordinates to dispose of the bodies. On the other side, Gu Yiran and Zhao Xiaoguang mingled in the chaotic crowd and saw someone hitting on two girls and secretly putting something in their water cups when they weren't paying attention.
Gu Yiran intentionally pretended to be drunk and bumped into them, spilling their drinks, but this completely enraged the drug dealers, and six or seven people chased after him. The two were outnumbered but fought their way from the club to the back door and ran out. Zhao Xiaoguang covered Gu Yiran's escape, fighting several people alone. Just as he was about to be overwhelmed, Gu Yiran suddenly ran back, swinging a long pry bar from who knows where.
Taking advantage of the drug dealers dodging, he quickly supported Zhao Xiaoguang and escaped. The drug dealer boss led his men to surround Gu Yiran and Zhao Xiaoguang. Unexpectedly, Gu Yiran kicked over a stack of oil drums on the ground, then fiercely struck the ground with the pry bar, instantly igniting a two-meter-high wall of fire. Seeing this scene, Zhao Xiaoguang realized that Gu Yiran had been preparing this simple "trap" in just a few minutes.
Although the wall of fire blocked the drug dealers, it couldn't last long. As the fire diminished, Zhao Xiaoguang gradually ran out of strength. Zhao Xiaoguang urged Gu Yiran to leave quickly. The drug dealer boss told his subordinates to catch them, when suddenly a liquor bottle hit his head. He turned around and saw Zheng Bei standing behind him with Zhang Xueyao and Ding Guozhu. Zhang Xueyao had finally found an opportunity to fight and couldn't wait.
She and Zheng Bei rushed out to fight the drug dealers, but soon a large number of police arrived. Zheng Bei played along and chatted with the drug dealer boss, making him mistakenly believe he was a peer, using this opportunity to learn that the drug sold in the Lan Jiguang club was called Snow Angel. On the way back, Zheng Bei criticized Zhang Xueyao for being too impulsive.
Zhang Xueyao felt confused, but Gu Yiran knew he was criticizing her indirectly. Zhao Xiaoguang was completely convinced by Gu Yiran after this incident. Originally, Jiang Yingzi was going to take her daughter Maomao to piano lessons. While cooking, she received a phone call informing her that her husband Wang Jianmin was injured. Furious, she slammed the cleaver into the chopping board.
On the other side, everyone was in the hospital room with Zhao Xiaoguang, chatting and laughing until a nurse warned them. Gu Yiran decided to stay, and Zheng Nan also wanted to look after Zhao Xiaoguang. Zheng Bei left first with Zhang Xueyao and Ding Guozhu. While taking the elevator, he brushed past Jiang Yingzi. Jiang Yingzi arrived at her husband Wang Jianmin's hospital room.
Before going in, she told the person guarding the door to call Er Jin to come and see her. Looking at Wang Jianmin, who was injured but still trying to make her happy, she felt both touched and sad. Thinking of someone hurting her husband, her eyes concealed a hidden ruthlessness.
