A Nu followed the guidance of the Sheng Lingzhu and found the depths of Guiyin Mountain. Suddenly, she discovered a suspicious white-haired old man. It was precisely Han Yixian, who had saved her, but A Nu was unconscious at the time and didn't know who had saved her. She only saw Han Yixian pick up a handful of dry grass from the withered grass, and then he vanished.

A Nu quickly ran to where Han Yixian had disappeared and felt a eerie presence behind her. Looking closely, it turned out to be Tang Yu. Tang Yu reminded A Nu not to act on her own again. A Nu said she came to Guiyin Mountain because the Sheng Lingzhu had an unusual phenomenon. So, the two decided to find the princess as quickly as possible together. Zhao Ling'er hesitated repeatedly.

Li Xiaoyao began talking in his sleep, constantly calling out Zhao Ling'er's name. Zhao Ling'er finally made up her mind. After Li Xiaoyao woke up, he found that the person next to him was Zhao Ling'er, whom he had been looking for. He was very happy and immediately pulled Zhao Ling'er into his arms. So, they guessed that the chief had likely had a zombie poison outbreak, broken free from the silver needles' control, and eaten Li Xiaoyao.

Since the chief had turned into a zombie, keeping Lin Yueru and Liu Jinyuan was useless. They might as well sacrifice the two of them to meet Li Xiaoyao in the underworld. Lin Yueru was unwilling, but Liu Jinyuan felt it was a comforting thing to be able to die together with Lin Yueru. Li Xiaoyao went into the courtyard at night to aid digestion. Seeing that Lin Yueru was also there, he said goodbye to her in advance. While the two were talking, Li Xiaoyao sensed demonic energy approaching, so he notified Baihe Stronghold to quickly close the main gate to prevent the zombie demons from entering.
