After Jiu Jian Xian used the Wine God spell, although he temporarily gained the upper hand, he exhausted his inner energy. Li Xiaoyao took him outside the Nuwa Temple. Jiu Jian Xian was becoming increasingly weak. He mentioned that the reason he previously refused to take Li Xiaoyao as a disciple was because he didn't like worldly red tape. In reality, he greatly approved of Li Xiaoyao as a disciple.

Jiang Che also passed the Seven Star Sword to Li Xiaoyao, indicating that both of them had unique perspectives. Jiu Jian Xian felt his end was near, so he used his palm to transfer his remaining skills to Li Xiaoyao. After that, Li Xiaoyao officially became his disciple. Zhao Ling'er named the child Yi Ru, in memory of Lin Yueru who sacrificed her life to protect her, and also hoped that Lin Yueru's spirit in heaven would bless the child's healthy growth.

Sheng Gu called Li Xiaoyao outside the room to ask about the previous question, if he had found the answer. At night, Li Xiaoyao was not in the mood to sleep, so he went to Zhao Ling'er's room to take care of the baby together.

Zhao Ling'er asked what Li Xiaoyao had discovered at the Nuwa Temple over the past month. Li Xiaoyao recounted seeing the younger Zhao Ling'er, helping her escape to Immortal Spirit Island, their subsequent marriage, and their return to Nanzhao due to a series of coincidences. Everything was specially arranged by Nuwa.

What Li Xiaoyao couldn't say was that the Qilin Elder had predicted that the Nuwa clan had a mission to save the common people, and that the two of them were destined not to grow old together. He could only promise that once they found the Five Spirit Orbs, the family of three would return to Immortal Spirit Island to live in seclusion and never be separated again.

Li Xiaoyao comforted her, saying that the deceased had already passed away, and the living must look forward.

Zhao Ling'er asked Sheng Gu how to stop Chief Bai Yue. Sheng Gu said that Zhao Ling'er was a descendant of Nuwa, but she must use the Five Spirit Orbs and the Sky Serpent Staff to activate her spiritual power. The Sky Serpent Staff was placed in the Nuwa Temple. Currently, the Water Spirit Orb was still missing. Sheng Gu looked at Li Xiaoyao.

Li Xiaoyao had no choice but to take out the Water Spirit Orb he had brought back, explaining that Nuwa had taken him back ten years to find it. Everything was ready, and they were about to set off the next day. Zhao Ling'er suggested the three of them drink a cup together. She suddenly entered another space to converse with Nuwa, stating that she already knew her responsibility. She also asked about the method to eradicate Chief Bai Yue. Nuwa replied that only ultimate human goodness could suppress ultimate human evil. She then bestowed the cape and the Sky Serpent Staff upon Zhao Ling'er.
