Wei Chu made the difficult decision to temporarily separate from Feng Piaopiao, believing it would allow her to focus entirely on her training for the upcoming competition. Piaopiao was devastated by his words, which started with a gentle suggestion to train and escalated to him telling her to "get lost" when she kept asking how long they would be apart.

In a fit of anger and hurt, she threw her room card for his apartment at him and left for her dorm. Piaopiao was left in tears. Despite her sadness and frustration, Piaopiao found herself constantly thinking of Wei Chu. She went to his door multiple times, wanting to talk to him, but hesitated to knock, fearing his anger, and eventually returned to her dorm, feeling he was pushing her away over minor issues.

She also reflected on their shared memories and her desire to spend more time with him, even while knowing she needed to focus on her practice. The next morning, Piaopiao's distraught appearance at the Tai Chi system training grounds did not go unnoticed by Bai Haiyang, who offered her breakfast. When Chen Bing and Yang Ningxue arrived, Piaopiao confirmed she and Wei Chu were separating, a decision he made, and that she planned to train elsewhere.

Yang Ningxue, surprised, wanted to confront Wei Chu, but Chen Bing advised Bai Haiyang to go instead, believing he was more suited to the task. Bai Haiyang went to Wei Chu's home, where Wei Chu, having anticipated his visit, revealed his true reasons for the separation. Wei Chu explained that Fang Zhaotian was cunning and ruthless, capable of anything to win, and he feared Fang Zhaotian might target Piaopiao's grandfather, Feng Bingxing, before the matches to distract her.

He absolutely could not allow Piaopiao to be affected under any circumstances. Furthermore, Wei Chu believed it was time for Piaopiao to shed her dependence on him and achieve new heights through her own efforts. Bai Haiyang, understanding Wei Chu's selfless intentions, agreed to act as Piaopiao's temporary master and supervise her training according to a detailed plan provided by Wei Chu, while Wei Chu promised to handle all external threats and protect everyone.

Later, when Piaopiao was deep in thought about Wei Chu during her training, Bai Haiyang arrived. He gently reassured her that Wei Chu cared about her more than anyone else in the world, and Piaopiao, though still heartbroken, accepted his guidance and began her new training regimen focused on the flexibility of her moves. The National Martial Arts Congress finally commenced, drawing martial artists from various schools.

In the initial elimination rounds, all five members of the Tai Chi system—Bai Haiyang, Xiao Xiao, Chen Bing, Yang Ningxue, and Feng Piaopiao—along with four competitors from the eight Qimen, successfully advanced to the top twenty. Piaopiao, after winning her first match with a single powerful move, apologized to her teammates for her earlier distractions.

She declared that she was fighting not for Wei Chu or anyone else, but to prove that anyone, regardless of their background, could represent the Tai Chi system and achieve victory through hard work. Fang Zhaotian also easily won his first match, confidently asserting his determination to win the championship. During the ongoing tournament, Xiao Xiao expressed her concern to Bai Haiyang about Tan Lin's prolonged absence, suspecting he might have been imprisoned by Fang Zhaotian.

Bai Haiyang encouraged her to intervene, suggesting that since Fang Zhaotian had become their common enemy, Tan Lin could be a crucial witness in exposing him. Xiao Xiao indicated she likely knew Tan Lin's location, and they only needed to find a window when Fang Zhaotian was preoccupied. Bai Haiyang recommended they consult Wei Chu for advice. The competition intensified as it progressed to the subsequent elimination rounds, narrowing the field.

In a critical match, Chen Bing, representing the Tai Chi system, faced an opponent from eight Qimen. Despite Chen Bing's superior skill, the eight Qimen fighter resorted to dirty tactics, injuring Chen Bing's wrist and forcing his elimination. Yang Ningxue was deeply affected by Chen Bing's unexpected defeat, which disrupted her focus and led to her own loss against a skilled opponent in her subsequent match.

Chen Bing and Yang Ningxue expressed their apologies to the team, but their teammates reassured them, understanding the underhanded nature of their opponents. In the semi-finals, Bai Haiyang faced Liu Qing, a formidable opponent from Guiyuan who had defeated the Tai Chi system in a previous tournament. Unfortunately, Bai Haiyang was also eliminated. Following these setbacks, only Feng Piaopiao and Xiao Xiao remained from the Tai Chi system to advance.

Piaopiao then easily defeated an eight Qimen opponent, securing her spot in the next stage. Xiao Xiao also won her match against a Sanda master. Meanwhile, Fang Zhaotian visited the imprisoned Tan Lin and brazenly revealed his true intentions. He confessed that his return and actions were not for the glory of eight Qimen, but were backed by the power of Southeast Asian gangs.

He was using both eight Qimen and the National Martial Arts Congress as mere "chess pieces" to facilitate a large-scale gambling operation involving martial arts. His ultimate ambition was to become the "godfather of the underground black boxing world." Tan Lin condemned Fang Zhaotian's despicable scheme. Fang Zhaotian further revealed his plan to threaten Feng Piaopiao by abducting Feng Bingxing, forcing her to withdraw from the competition. However, Wei Chu had anticipated this move.

As Fang Zhaotian's men arrived at Feng Bingxing's house to carry out the abduction, they were met by police officers, who, thanks to Wei Chu's prior arrangements, immediately arrested them. Bai Haiyang later confirmed that it was Wei Chu who had orchestrated the timely intervention, having foreseen Fang Zhaotian's attempts to manipulate Piaopiao by targeting her grandfather. The day of the semi-finals and finals arrived.

Piaopiao was scheduled to fight Fang Zhaotian in a semi-final match, while Xiao Xiao was to face Liu Qing from Guiyuan. However, as the opening time approached, Xiao Xiao was nowhere to be seen, and her phone went unanswered. Piaopiao, growing increasingly anxious, had to walk onto the competition floor alone.

Just as the announcer declared only seconds remained before Tai Chi would be disqualified due to Xiao Xiao's absence, Wei Chu appeared at the last second and took his place beside Piaopiao. A small smile touched Piaopiao's lips at his timely arrival.
