Feng Piaopiao's dedicated treatment, combining the Meridian flow hole opening method with Feng Bingxing's medicated diet, began to show remarkable results. Wei Chu, who had been struggling with his injuries, was now able to stand and walk again. Doctor Chen was amazed by the swift recovery, calling it a miracle.

However, he cautioned that even with this progress, Wei Chu had only recovered to his condition of a year and a half prior and still couldn't exert himself in martial arts. Doctor Chen advised continued treatment with both methods, expressing hope for a full recovery in the long term. One evening, Feng Piaopiao found Wei Chu in her room, and he explained he was making sure she had covered herself with the quilt, fearing she would catch a cold.

She, in turn, told him his leg was not fully recovered and he shouldn't wander around, then escorted him back to his room. When Doctor Chen later examined Wei Chu, he was astonished by his ability to stand. He suspected they were using methods beyond just the Meridian flow hole opening method. Feng Piaopiao suggested her grandfather's medicated diet might be responsible, which Doctor Chen confirmed was indeed the likely factor.

He reiterated that while Wei Chu might recover to his previous state, he likely wouldn't be able to practice Tai Chi again. Wei Chu assured Doctor Chen he would heed his advice and not be reckless. Meanwhile, Xiao Xiao, having learned of Bai Haiyang's suppressed grief from Chen Bing and Yang Ningxue, orchestrated a river lantern event to help him process his feelings.

She led Bai Haiyang to the riverside, explaining that she used river lanterns to communicate with her own deceased grandfather. Moved by her story, Bai Haiyang confessed he also had many things he wished he could say to his late grandmother.

As they released lanterns, Chen Bing and Yang Ningxue, who were also present and helping with the lanterns, discussed their initial hesitation about revealing Bai Haiyang's private matters, but Chen Bing reasoned that it was necessary for Bai Haiyang to finally open up. Bai Haiyang tearfully expressed his hope that the lantern would carry his words to his grandmother, a sentiment Xiao Xiao affirmed.

Later, while Feng Piaopiao was cleaning, Feng Piaopiao playfully threw a towel at Wei Chu using a Tai Chi move. Wei Chu, noticing her technique, explained that her lack of control stemmed from incorrect force application, emphasizing the importance of "inner and outer harmony" in Tai Chi. He advised her to widen her arm movements and retry the action, which significantly improved her execution.

Feng Piaopiao, seeing Wei Chu on his feet, wondered if his martial arts skills were nearly restored. He replied that it would still take a long time for a complete recovery. She suggested they visit her grandfather, Feng Bingxing, who was skilled in self-treatment and had helped her with injuries in the past. Before they could leave, Wei Chu's grandmother, Wei Min, arrived.

She sternly forbade Wei Chu from seeing Feng Bingxing, revealing that she knew Feng Piaopiao was Feng Bingxing's granddaughter. Wei Min expressed her disapproval of their association. Wei Chu took his grandmother aside, attempting to mediate. He defended Feng Bingxing, explaining his past actions were out of necessity and that martial arts shouldn't be bound by family lines. However, Wei Min remained resolute, dismissing his words and asserting her own right to handle her affairs.

Wei Chu, unable to sway her, told Feng Piaopiao he would explain everything later, and despite his grandmother's prohibition, he still accompanied her to visit Feng Bingxing's home. On their way, they encountered Chen Bing and Yang Ningxue, who were delighted to see Wei Chu walking again, as were some students from the boxing club.

Upon arriving at Feng Bingxing's home, the grandfather initially assumed Feng Piaopiao had caused trouble, but Wei Chu clarified that their visit concerned his grandmother, Wei Min. Wei Chu then informed Feng Bingxing that Wei Min had discovered Feng Piaopiao's identity and was now forbidding her from continuing her Tai Chi training with him.

He implored Feng Bingxing to meet with Wei Min once more to resolve their long-standing feud, emphasizing that "the one who tied the bell must untie it" for Feng Piaopiao's sake. Feng Piaopiao was confused by their conversation. Feng Bingxing then recounted his past, revealing that his intense pursuit of martial arts led him to seek out hidden Tai Chi sects across the country, eventually bringing him to the Wei family's Hidden Door where he learned from Wei Min.

However, when his "stealing" of techniques from other Tai Chi sects was exposed, Wei Min, to legitimize his learning within the family, proposed marriage. Feng Bingxing, already a married man, refused, creating a deep-seated regret that he felt made him unworthy of facing her again. Yet, for Feng Piaopiao's future, he agreed to apologize to Wei Min. The next day, Wei Chu invited Wei Min for a game of chess, then revealed he had arranged for someone to meet her.

Feng Bingxing entered, and Wei Min became visibly agitated, angrily asking how he dared to show his face to her. Wei Chu tried to intervene, but Wei Min silenced him. She then angrily told Feng Bingxing that he was an outsider and had no business interfering in their family's affairs. Feng Bingxing, calling her "Master" despite her protests that he was no longer part of her sect, sincerely apologized for his past actions.

Wei Min dismissed his apology, stating that a simple "sorry" could not erase the years of suffering he had caused her. She refused to be swayed regarding Feng Piaopiao, citing the strict Wei family rule that Tai Chi must never be taught to outsiders. She was resolute in not allowing Wei Chu to repeat her past mistakes, no matter how talented Feng Piaopiao might be. Despite Wei Min's harsh words and refusal to forgive, Feng Bingxing did not blame her.

Instead, he examined Wei Chu's meridians and, finding hope for a full recovery, advised him to start practicing martial arts again, explaining that activating all his meridians would accelerate the healing process. Wei Chu took his advice to heart. Later, Wei Chu assured Feng Piaopiao that he would continue teaching her Tai Chi, even without his grandmother's support.

Feng Piaopiao worried about the conflict this would create between Wei Chu and Wei Min, but Wei Chu explained his long-held dream: to break down sectarian barriers, widely accept students, and truly revitalize Tai Chi as a national art. Moved, Feng Piaopiao agreed to help him achieve this vision. Starting that day, Wei Chu formally began Tai Chi training for Feng Piaopiao, guiding her as she practiced.

With daily practice, Feng Piaopiao's Tai Chi skills improved significantly, and Wei Chu's own body also continued to recover. Xiao Xiao, who was leaving lunch for Bai Haiyang, handed Feng Piaopiao's package to Yang Ningxue to send. However, Yang Ningxue accidentally dropped the package, revealing the name "Feng Bingxing." Yang Ningxue, seeing the name, immediately realized Feng Piaopiao's relationship with Feng Bingxing.

She quickly told Chen Bing that they should have suspected it earlier and urged him to find Wei Chu to warn him about Feng Piaopiao. They rushed to Wei Chu's practice spot and saw him and Feng Piaopiao sparring. Yang Ningxue was about to confront Feng Piaopiao, but Chen Bing stopped her.

He suggested that Feng Piaopiao didn't seem like the type to deceive Wei Chu and that they should first ask Wei Chu if he was aware of her identity, as he might have his own reasons. Yang Ningxue, however, remained convinced that Feng Piaopiao was repeating Feng Bingxing's past mistakes and insisted they consult an elder.
