> Sweet Tai Chi Recap

Piaopiao told Wei Chu that she wanted to transfer to the Tai Chi system. Wei Chu questioned her decision, noting she had just settled into the painting and calligraphy department and wouldn't change for no reason. Piaopiao explained that since his injury, the Tai Chi students were dispirited, with some even considering leaving. She wanted to contribute to the Tai Chi system, especially as Wei Chu had taught her Tai Chi for crucial moments.

She genuinely loved Tai Chi, not just because of her grandfather, but because she cared for everyone in the department and wished to help protect it. Wei Chu seemed comforted by her words. Piaopiao also secretly harbored feelings for Wei Chu, wanting to do more for him, but was too shy to express them yet. Later that night, after Wei Chu had fallen asleep, Piaopiao gently smoothed his furrowed brow before stepping out.

Unable to contain her worry, she called Doctor Chen, apologizing for the late hour. She asked if there were any alternative treatments beyond simple rest that could expedite Wei Chu's recovery. Doctor Chen explained that while broken bones heal easily, meridian damage is far more complex. He then recalled a long-lost traditional Chinese medicine technique called the "Meridian flow hole opening method."

This method divides the day into twelve hours, aligning with the body's Twelve Earth Branches, qi and blood circulation, and the opening and closing of the Five Acupoints. He believed it "might" cure Wei Chu's meridian injury, having read of similar successful cases in an ancient medical book, but he lacked full confidence as the method was largely forgotten. He also mentioned that this specific book was likely only found in their school's library.

Driven by this sliver of hope, Piaopiao immediately rushed to the CMFU school library. She anxiously waited for its opening, determined to find the book. After a diligent search, she successfully located the "Meridian flow acupuncture method" medical text. Overjoyed, she tried to call Wei Chu to share the good news, but he didn't answer, prompting her to hurry back to his home.

Upon her return, Piaopiao found Wei Chu struggling and excitedly presented him with the medical book, explaining Doctor Chen's belief in its potential. However, Wei Chu was dismissive, stating he had already tried this method after his initial injury with no success. Piaopiao insisted that they must have overlooked something and that the book surely held a cure, urging him to trust her. But Wei Chu, disheartened, simply told her it was useless and to leave him alone.

Just then, Wei Chu's grandmother, Wei Min, arrived to visit. Piaopiao opened the door, and Wei Min immediately recognized her. Piaopiao, initially flustered, politely invited her in. While Piaopiao prepared a special blend of black tea with dried chrysanthemum and honey for Wei Chu, Wei Min observed her with approval, noting Piaopiao's meticulous care for her grandson.

Wei Min then began to inquire about Piaopiao's family background, but Piaopiao deftly avoided the topic by offering to get Wei Chu a coat. Wei Chu, joining them, jokingly accused his grandmother of "investigating her registered permanent residence." Wei Min expressed surprise that Wei Chu hadn't introduced such a wonderful girl earlier, but Wei Chu downplayed their relationship, insisting Piaopiao was merely an ordinary girl caring for him.

He also reassured his grandmother about his leg injury, claiming it wasn't as serious as rumored and would heal with rest. Wei Min, however, suspected the involvement of Baqi Gate and expressed her readiness to retaliate if they had indeed resurfaced. Wei Chu dismissed her concerns, assuring her he would handle everything. Wei Min, acknowledging his stubbornness, finally relented, urging him to rest well and care for himself before Piaopiao walked her out.

Later, Wei Min confronted Professor Kong, demanding an explanation for her grandson's attack. Professor Kong, flustered, inadvertently revealed that Piaopiao was indeed caring for Wei Chu, a fact widely known throughout Shangxiang Academy. He then enthusiastically praised Piaopiao's talents, beauty, and noble background from a family of painting and calligraphy, even suggesting she would make a perfect granddaughter-in-law.

When Wei Min asked about Piaopiao's shortcomings, Professor Kong mentioned her only "flaw": during admission, she had mistakenly submitted a magnificent painting by her grandfather instead of her own. He confessed that the professors were so captivated by its brilliance that they had overlooked verifying its authorship. Curious, Wei Min requested to see the original "mistakenly submitted" painting. Upon seeing the artwork, Wei Min's expression drastically changed, and she abruptly declared she had other matters to attend to, swiftly leaving.

Professor Kong, confused, lamented her lack of appreciation for such a "wonderful painting." Meanwhile, at the Tai Chi system, students were disheartened by Wei Chu's injury and the department's precarious situation. Li Hua voiced his continued belief in Tai Chi and his seniors, even as other students expressed doubt. Piaopiao arrived, reaffirming that only by protecting the Tai Chi system could they have hope.

Simultaneously, Xiao Xiao, still smitten with Bai Haiyang, discreetly approached Chen Bing and Yang Ningxue to inquire if he had a girlfriend. Yang Ningxue confirmed he likely didn't, much to Xiao Xiao's secret delight. Chen Bing, however, teased her about her obvious crush. Xiao Xiao then found Bai Haiyang reading in the library. She proposed playing a tarot card game, specifically to divine their relationship. Bai Haiyang, though skeptical about tarot, good-naturedly agreed.

After Xiao Xiao drew three cards and consulted her phone for the meaning, she announced, with a hint of disappointment, that they were merely "ordinary friends." Bai Haiyang responded, "What's wrong with this? It's good," which did little to lift Xiao Xiao's spirits. Despite Wei Chu's continued withdrawal and depression, Piaopiao remained resolute in her vow to cure him. She diligently studied the "Meridian flow acupuncture method" and regularly massaged his acupoints according to the book's instructions.

She also called her grandfather to inquire about a past remedy for a similar leg injury, carefully noting down ingredients like Angelica sinensis, Dipsacus Root, and Safflower for a stewed black chicken soup. Drawing upon her knowledge of Traditional Chinese Medicine and medicinal grinding, she prepared a "secret recipe" for Wei Chu. Although Wei Chu initially asked if the medicine was for external use, Piaopiao playfully corrected him, emphasizing its potent oral benefits and her grandfather's strong recommendation.

Gradually, Wei Chu was touched by her unwavering dedication, shifting from his initial indifference to quietly cooperating with her treatments, including diligently drinking the herbal medicine. In time, Wei Chu noted that his leg indeed "felt better," confirming the effectiveness of the methods guided by Doctor Chen and her grandfather. Piaopiao, observing him, silently reaffirmed her promise that his legs would definitely recover.
