Su Mu finally confessed his feelings to Tian Tiande, telling her he liked her, but she had already fallen deeply asleep. He heard her soft snoring and chuckled helplessly. The next morning, Tian Tiande woke up to find Su Mu lying opposite her, wishing her a good morning. Embarrassed, she quickly got up, saying she would get ready first. Su Mu tried to gauge if she had heard his confession, asking if she heard anything specific the previous night.
Tian Tiande only recalled the thunder, which had scared her, and confirmed she heard nothing else. Su Mu dismissed it, saying it was nothing. Su Mu then asked if Tian Tiande's leg still hurt, and she assured him it was much better. They realized that Doctor Gao had disappeared early that morning, so they decided to pack up and head back. On the boat ride home, Tian Tiande began to feel nauseous.
Su Mu noticed and, to help her with motion sickness, gently took her hand. She felt better after a while. Upon returning home, they encountered Mi Ya and Hui Zi. Mi Ya expressed surprise at Tian Tiande's late return, and Tian Tiande explained she had been stranded on Bai Sha Island overnight due to a storm and lack of signal. Mi Ya then realized that Su Mu had gone with her.
Hui Zi, seeing Su Mu and Tian Tiande together, felt a bit jealous. Mi Ya introduced Hui Zi to Tian Tiande as a close friend of both hers and Su Mu's. Hui Zi mentioned she had heard of Tian Tiande before. Meanwhile, Tian Tiande's parents were distraught at home, on the verge of calling the police, when Tian Tiande finally walked in. Li Di was also present.
Tian Tiande's mother was still upset about her daughter's unauthorized outing and her inability to be reached, but Li Di quickly noticed Tian Tiande's injured leg. He swiftly ushered her upstairs to tend to it, despite her mother's continued anger. Upstairs, Li Di re-bandaged Tian Tiande's leg, noting the previous bandaging was messy. Tian Tiande revealed Su Mu had bandaged it, which made Li Di nervous, asking if she went with Su Mu.
Tian Tiande explained they went to Bai Sha Island to meet Doctor Gao, Su Mu’s business partner, for both a vacation and a partnership negotiation. Li Di questioned her involvement, implying Su Mu might like her, but Tian Tiande dismissed it as a neighborly gesture. Li Di then reminded her about Clayton’s autographed ticket, explaining that the upcoming exhibition match would require exchanging the original signed ticket for entry.
Tian Tiande grew anxious, realizing she couldn't remember where she had put her ticket, and Li Di warned her about losing it. Meanwhile, Su Mu and Hui Zi discussed work. Su Mu informed Hui Zi that Doctor Gao had reviewed their blueprints, offering comments that could lead to a successful cooperation if addressed. He thanked Hui Zi for providing Doctor Gao’s location, admitting he wouldn’t have found him otherwise.
Mi Ya, overhearing their work talk, interrupted, suggesting they defer the discussion to the company and instead go outside to play with their excited dog, Bo Bo. From her window, Tian Tiande saw Su Mu and Hui Zi playing with the dog, and a pang of jealousy hit her, feeling they looked very compatible. Li Di noticed and added fuel to her feelings, mentioning he’d heard that Wang Yanyi said Mi Ya was trying to set them up.
This news made Tian Tiande feel even more disheartened. Moments later, as Li Di escorted Tian Tiande to an ice cream shop, Su Mu observed them, holding onto the medicine he had intended to give her. When Hui Zi and Su Mu arrived at the ice cream shop that Su Mu had mentioned, they found Tian Tiande and Li Di already there.
Tian Tiande, still feeling jealous, was visibly upset when Hui Zi suggested to Su Mu that they share an ice cream, "old rules, separate into half." Su Mu, noticing the tension, quietly handed the medicine to Tian Tiande, reminding her to use it, then left with Hui Zi. Feeling down, Tian Tiande decided to accept Li Di's invitation to play baseball, reasoning that she had the medicine for her injured foot.
Tian Tiande played ball with Li Di, her mind clearly elsewhere as she dwelled on Su Mu's closeness with Hui Zi. Afterward, she, Li Di, and Ding Xiaoyu went to dinner. Ding Xiaoyu mentioned she had studied interior design and, despite being a year older than Li Di, had joined the baseball team with him, recalling how Li Di used to praise Tian Tiande. Tian Tiande, still in a foul mood, drank steadily.
Upon hearing that Ding Xiaoyu was with them, Wang Yanyi called Li Di and quickly rushed to join them. Meanwhile, Mi Ya had decided to establish a division in Japan, with Hui Zi and Su Mu slated to be in charge. At dinner, Wang Yanyi flirtatiously tried to reintroduce himself to Ding Xiaoyu, who initially didn't remember him. He wasn't deterred, pouring himself a drink as a "punishment" for not being around often enough.
He then mentioned that Su Mu and Hui Zi were "doing academic research" at the company in preparation for this, which immediately annoyed Tian Tiande. She quickly excused herself, pulling Ding Xiaoyu along to the restroom. While they were gone, Wang Yanyi confided in Li Di, declaring his clear affection for Ding Xiaoyu. He asserted that one must openly confess their feelings, as Ding Xiaoyu was "different" from other girls and made him "want to settle down."
He then enthusiastically proposed a camping trip. Li Di instantly agreed upon hearing Tian Tiande would be there, and Ding Xiaoyu also decided to join. Wang Yanyi then received a call and had to rush back to the company. There, he asked Su Mu if he would join the camping trip, mentioning that Li Di, Tian Tiande, and "his little girlfriend" (referring to Ding Xiaoyu) would be there. However, Su Mu curtly refused, stating he had no time.
That night, Tian Tiande was restless. Li Di called her, reminding her to wear long sleeves and pants for camping, and to bring mosquito repellent and sunscreen, also advising her not to wear heavy makeup and to get a good night's sleep. Meanwhile, Tian Tiande's parents discussed Li Di. While her father spoke highly of him, her mother's intuition told her that Tian Tiande and Li Di were not meant to be together.
The following day, Tian Tiande, Li Di, Wang Yanyi, and Ding Xiaoyu gathered for their camping trip. To everyone's surprise, Su Mu also arrived, immediately creating an awkward tension in the car that Wang Yanyi, oblivious, tried to dispel with music and hype. Su Mu sat stiffly in the front passenger seat.
In the back, Tian Tiande and Ding Xiaoyu teased Li Di about his narcissistic habits in high school, recalling how he spent half an hour styling his hair before baseball games, only for it to be messy afterwards. As Li Di attempted to share a baseball story, Su Mu repeatedly lowered the window, citing the heat or a desire to "see the scenery," effectively disrupting Li Di's conversation and annoying the others.
Arriving at the scenic spot chosen by Wang Yanyi, the group admired the beautiful view. As they gathered to take photos, Su Mu initially refused to join, so they asked him to take the picture instead. Tian Tiande warned them that Su Mu was not good at taking photos, as his previous attempts had been blurry. Su Mu, however, took the phone, but spent an unusually long time before finally taking a shot.
Upon reviewing the photo, they discovered that Li Di had been deliberately cropped out, much to Tian Tiande's exasperation. They then decided to take another photo, making sure everyone was included. Wang Yanyi showcased his camping preparations, which included tents, a barbecue grill, and fireworks, proudly proclaiming the beautiful scenery he'd found. Li Di and Tian Tiande began setting up a tent together, but Su Mu quickly intervened, criticizing their amateurish efforts.
He dismantled the tent, insisting on fixing it himself, claiming it was due to his "obsessive-compulsive disorder," despite Li Di's protests. While Su Mu struggled to fix the tent, Li Di took Tian Tiande aside to look at photos, and Wang Yanyi persistently tried to flirt with Ding Xiaoyu, who remained unimpressed by his "quirky" antics. When Su Mu finally finished the tent, he saw Tian Tiande and Li Di catching fish and joined them.
Soon after, they decided to move on to grilling their catch. Driven by a competitive urge, Su Mu plunged into the cold water to catch more fish. Upon his return, he found Tian Tiande and the others engrossed in grilling, seemingly oblivious to his efforts. Su Mu joined the barbecue, but Wang Yanyi promptly handed him the fishing task, redirecting everyone else to play games, leaving Su Mu feeling excluded and discontent.
In the evening, the group gathered around a bonfire to play the King game. Li Di drew the King card first, playfully "inhibiting" Wang Yanyi by making him eat spicy skewers. Next, Ding Xiaoyu became King and commanded a "princess hug" between Wang Yanyi and Li Di, which they performed to the amusement of the group.
Later, Tian Tiande drew the King card and, for her punishment, made herself and Li Di walk around with their shoelaces tied together, prompting comments about their "telepathy." Su Mu watched this interaction with a darkening expression. Finally, Wang Yanyi became King again and, seeking further entertainment, ordered Su Mu and Li Di to perform face-to-face push-ups. After this awkward and comical task, Ding Xiaoyu asked Tian Tiande to send her the photos they took. Su Mu, visibly disgruntled by the day's events, excused himself to go for a walk alone.
