> Go Into Your Heart Recap
Cheng Yi met Xu Chi and informed him of her decision not to join Pinecone Video. She explained that she had submitted her proposal to Binhai TV Station, and the management loved it, even entrusting her with two of their latest shows. Feeling appreciated, she stated she couldn't bring herself to resign. Xu Chi expressed his disapproval, calling her muddled for wanting to retrace her steps. He reminded her of how the station had treated her in the past.
Cheng Yi, however, felt a deep attachment to the station after working there since graduation. She insisted on staying now that things had taken a turn for the better. Despite her words to Xu Chi, Cheng Yi had actually chosen to resign from the television station, opting to restart her life's journey. Cheng Yi then visited her father's restaurant, where she found Jiang Yuda. She confided in him about starting from scratch.
Jiang Yuda reassured her, saying that Cheng Yi was strong and would never be defeated, predicting a bright future for her. During their conversation at Tianshui Lane, Cheng Yi enjoyed the rare peace and relaxation, feeling free from the pressures of work she previously experienced. Meanwhile, Cheng Liao went to the school to inform the teachers about Sheng Jingchu's situation, finally clarifying why he had reacted as he did. The teachers expressed understanding for Sheng Jingchu's emotional state.
Afterward, Cheng Liao brought Tian Tian, the child who had asked Sheng Jingchu for an autograph, to Sheng Jingchu, hoping he would teach the boy Go. Tian Tian played several games with Sheng Jingchu but couldn't win, so he complained to Cheng Liao. Cheng Liao advised Tian Tian not to be anxious, assuring him he would have a chance to win against the Legend when he grew up.
Sheng Jingchu then took Tian Tian to the Jiuzhou Dojo, entrusting him to the Eldest Senior Brother, Xie Chang'an, for Go lessons. Later, Sheng Jingchu messaged Cheng Liao, indicating his desire to speak with her father. Cheng Liao felt uneasy, worried her father might make things difficult for Sheng Jingchu. When Sheng Jingchu met Cheng Liao's father, he respectfully admitted his previous error and asked to explain the misunderstanding.
He revealed that he had been learning Go at Jiuzhou Dojo since childhood, a consequence of his parents' death in a car accident when he was six years old, which occurred at the intersection of Anning Road. For two decades, he had avoided that spot, unable to face it.
However, on the day of the charity event, he happened to pass through Anning Road, which triggered all his painful memories, causing him to lose control of his emotions and react poorly to Tian Tian. He expressed deep regret and explained that he had apologized to Tian Tian and arranged for him to study Go at Jiuzhou Dojo as a way to atone for his actions.
Sheng Jingchu then unequivocally declared his serious feelings for Cheng Liao, stating that she was unique and made him see the world differently, bringing him a sense of peace. He admitted his inexperience in relationships but promised to learn and constantly improve himself to treat Cheng Liao well and support her in everything she wished to do.
Cheng Liao's father, who had previously dismissed Sheng Jingchu as merely "playing around" due to his status as a Go Legend, was moved by his sincerity. He apologized for his harsh words, explaining that his wife's early death left him to raise his two daughters alone, making him overly protective and suspicious of any boy pursuing them, fearing they would be deceived. Unknown to them, Cheng Liao was listening to their entire conversation through a voice call with Sheng Jingchu.
Hearing her father's heartfelt concern brought tears to her eyes, affirming his genuine love for her. Cheng Liao's father then showed Sheng Jingchu the family's last family photo. Sheng Jingchu was stunned to realize that the young Cheng Liao in the picture was the same little girl he had seen at the hospital more than two decades ago.
That night, after his parents passed away, he was crying alone in a hospital corner when a little girl (young Cheng Liao) came over and gave him a pomelo candy, telling him he wouldn't be sad if he ate it. This act of kindness had stayed with him, and now, discovering that the girl he had been searching for all these years was Cheng Liao, made him love her even more deeply.
Overwhelmed, Sheng Jingchu told Cheng Liao's father he had to go find Cheng Liao immediately. Cheng Liao's father, now fully supportive, urged him not to disappoint his daughter. At the same moment, Cheng Liao, having heard Sheng Jingchu's story, rushed to meet him. They found each other and embraced tightly, pouring all their emotions into the hug. Cheng Liao gave Sheng Jingchu a new candy, telling him its name was "I want to be with you."
Sheng Jingchu understood this as her acceptance of his love, and he then kissed her passionately. Later, Cheng Yi was making plans to go to Shanghai for a new program, having arranged it with a friend. She was unsure how to break the news to her family. Back at her father's restaurant, she informed Jiang Yuda of her move to Shanghai.
Jiang Yuda thought Shanghai was a good opportunity and playfully offered to join her, suggesting he could learn Go by day and spend evenings with her. Cheng Yi playfully refused, telling him to focus on his studies back home. When she shared her news with her father and Cheng Liao, they both seemed a little sad about her leaving. Her father, Cheng Fengshou, acknowledged that his daughters had grown up and he couldn't control their choices.
He went to prepare dumplings for her, wishing her success in her new job. Cheng Yi, seeing his reluctance, comforted him, promising to visit frequently. Xu Chi went to the TV station to find Cheng Yi, only to be surprised to learn that she had resigned some days ago. He immediately called her, urging her to join Pinecone Video, where he had already made arrangements for her.
Cheng Yi, however, told him not to worry about her anymore and that she would take care of herself. After hanging up, Xu Chi received an email from Cheng Yi that she had sent two years prior, reminding him of her long-held dream to create impactful programs. Inspired, Xu Chi returned to Pinecone Video and proposed to his superior, Mr. Wang, to fully fund and produce Cheng Yi's "Road to Success series."
He vouched for its success with his career and position, offering to resign if it failed. He then went to Cheng Yi, presented her with the proposal and collaboration agreement, and urged her to think it over. He told her that if she decided to stay, she should sign the agreement and successfully complete the "Road to Success series" to honor "Sincere Conversation" and herself.
