Concurrently, Nan Yufu made preparations for the Spirit Armor Army's arrival at sunset and dispatched a message to the Kingdom organization, signaling them to commence their operation. Inside her room, Xia Ling tended to Shuier, who, while semi-conscious, mumbled about wanting water. Xia Ling placed the Spirit Speech Letter on the bedside as she turned to get water. In that moment, she witnessed Shuier touch the letter, causing characters to appear on its blank surface.
Just then, Beiluoshimen and Nan Yufu entered. Xia Ling quickly concealed the letter. Nan Yufu, citing the impending critical events in Mingjing Village that would prevent them from ensuring her safety, urged Beiluoshimen to escort her back to the human realm. Feeling like a burden and realizing she was ill-suited for the spiritual domain, Xia Ling agreed to return to her school in the human realm. As moments passed, a grand conspiracy was set into motion.
Cao Yanbing braced himself to enter Mingjing Village, while Beiluoshimen made arrangements to accompany Xia Ling back to the human realm. Nan Yufu also sent a message via carrier pigeon to the Kingdom organization, signaling them to begin their operation. Later that night, Cao Yanbing arrived alone at Yulin Street, where he was met by Beiluoshimen. Xia Ling, who had requested to see Cao Yanbing before her departure, was also present.
Initially, Cao Yanbing misinterpreted the situation, thinking Beiluoshimen was colluding with Nan Yufu and holding Xia Ling hostage. Yet, within moments, the blossoms fell, and the fruit vanished without a trace.
Meanwhile, Beiluoshimen, still locked in combat with Cao Yanbing, felt a sudden, sharp pain in his chest, which was a direct result of the Bodhi Tree's Qiming. This mysterious event dramatically amplified his combat power severalfold, making him an overwhelming opponent that Cao Yanbing could not defeat.
