Before leaving, Zhama gave Luo Ren a small pouch, saying his mother could tell Luo Ren had something on his mind, but hoped he could let it go and bravely pursue the person he liked. Thirteen-Thousand took a red apple to the cliffside to mourn the wild man, and Yan Hongsha picked a bouquet of small white flowers. Thirteen-Thousand told Yan Hongsha that if she missed her grandfather, she should just cry it out.

As for the vanished village in Moonlight Mountain, he recently overheard elderly villagers chatting about how twenty years ago, a woman had been assaulted by a wild man and was rumored to have given birth to a half-wild child. Although her husband warned her against it, the woman ultimately abandoned her family and entered the mountains, never to return. Pingting had been repeating “Sister, go upstairs” all day.
Luo Ren saw from the surveillance that when Lian Shu approached the Heart Relic’s room, the relic began to show abnormal fluctuations. Luo Ren called Thirteen-Thousand and Cao Yanhua to go find Mu Dai. She had already been knocked out and taken away by Lian Shu. Lian Shu had tied up Mu Dai and showed her the piece of amber hanging from her neck. Lian Shu resented her mother for disregarding her reputation and entering the mountains to care for the wild man, leaving her and her father behind.
