The Seven Relics of ill Omen Episode 11 Recap
> The Seven Relics of ill Omen Recap
Old Man Yan and his group encountered Zha Ma, who was driving a mule cart back to Qiju Village, and hitched a ride with him. Zha Ma told them that the crazy old man they had run into earlier was Uncle Suonan from the neighboring village. Since there was no signal in the village, Mu Dai paid Zha Ma to go to a place with reception the next morning to help her contact a friend.
When Zha Ma learned that Old Man Yan and the others were heading into Moonlight Mountain, he was startled and warned them that there were wild men in the mountains and that it had been raining a lot lately. Old Man Yan didn’t care and insisted they had to go. Zha Ma’s mother gave Mu Dai a colorful string, saying it was for blessing relationships.
Zha Ma explained that his mother came from a line of powerful shamans, so Mu Dai asked her to do a reading. After the reading, Zha Ma’s mother looked very serious. Zha Ma told Mu Dai that his mother had seen two versions of her, but the one who would remain in the end was somewhat different from who she was now.
When they arrived at a village in Moonlight Mountain, Yan Hongsha noticed that every household had a sunshine doll hanging outside, and she immediately realized it was a sign of the heart relic. That night, while Mu Dai was drawing water from the well, a sunshine doll floated up in the bucket, startling her. Zha Ma had just called Luo Ren, and Luo Ren arrived shortly afterward.
Zha Ma told him that Mu Dai and the others were fine and reassured him. When Zha Ma’s mother saw Luo Ren, she froze for a moment and stared at him for a while with a meaningful expression but said nothing. They fished a sunshine doll out of the well, and Yan Hongsha, curious, brought it inside. Old Man Yan took Yan Hongsha aside to talk about family matters.
He said that when hiding treasures, to avoid discovery, they would use human blood and energy to suppress the treasure's aura, ensuring it was sealed tightly. The next morning, Mu Dai found that the sunshine doll on the ground had disappeared. Old Man Yan was in a hurry, so they quickly set off, unaware that the sunshine doll had returned to the well.
Old Man Yan found the treasure site and, excited, asked Yan Hongsha to dig while Mu Dai climbed a tree to stand guard. After a while, Yan Hongsha refused to dig any further. When Mu Dai offered to help, Yan Hongsha said there was a dead body below. Old Man Yan confessed the truth about an expedition from years ago: he had wanted to keep the treasure for himself.
Coincidentally, someone from the team had died, and to suppress the treasure's aura, he had buried the teammate's corpse over the treasure. While he was speaking, they heard noises nearby. Mu Dai used binoculars and saw someone in the area. Luo Ren and the other two followed the trail of signs left by Mu Dai but unexpectedly discovered a mark that wasn't hers. Luo Ren speculated that someone else was in the mountain.
Yan Hongsha and Mu Dai worked together to open the well cover. When Old Man Yan saw that the bones inside were gone, he was about to lower a rope into the well when something attacked. Mu Dai quickly shielded him and the others, drawing the hairy creature away herself. It was large and covered in long hair. Yan Hongsha guessed it was a wild man. Old Man Yan, however, was fixated on the missing corpse.
Agitated, he accidentally let slip that the teammate hadn’t just died—he had slit his throat and thrown the body into the well. Yan Hongsha couldn’t accept that her grandfather was a murderer. Suddenly, there was another disturbance. The sunshine doll appeared out of nowhere, and Old Man Yan was dragged away by the wild man. Mu Dai chased after them and fought the wild man, but the strength gap was too great.
Just as she was about to be strangled, Luo Ren arrived in time. In the end, the wild man was frightened off by Thirteen-Thousand’s torch. Luo Ren bandaged Mu Dai’s wounds while Thirteen-Thousand and Cao Yanhua cooked instant noodles nearby.
