Now that Xu Jia Mu had recovered, they saw no reason to continue the fake marriage. Their parents were surprised by the decision. To escape the public scrutiny and clear her mind, Lu Jinnian took Qiao Anhao on a trip. They spent quality time together by the sea, resolving their past misunderstandings and deepening their bond.
Zhen Jie contacted Shen Mingzhe, noting that Lu Jinnian seemed to be on an early honeymoon and asked when he would return. Shen Mingzhe assured her he would be back in a few days. During this time, Song Xiangsi discovered she was pregnant. Xu Jia Mu, holding a bouquet of roses, went to apologize to Song Xiangsi and suggest a romantic outing, even a honeymoon.
