Gao Jie was taken aback when Pan Yue once again reverted to her lucid self, even offering design advice about lines being "more gentle" and not "too full." Pan Yue then became playful, asking to "catch butterflies." Gao Jie wondered if Gao Hai's treatment method was truly working. Yu Yi met with Ah Jie to redeem the shares he had previously put up as collateral. Ah Jie confirmed he could do so but noted there would be some interest lost.

When Ah Jie asked for the money, Yu Yi revealed he couldn't immediately pay as all his funds were currently tied up in the production line. He explained that he would get the money back once the products entered the market. Yu Yi urged Ah Jie to continue monitoring the situation for him, promising to redeem the stocks as soon as he had the funds, adding that it was also his career at stake.

Yu Yi then called Manager Liao at the factory, who was about to request a postponement due to the complexity of the products. Yu Yi not only rejected this but demanded early delivery, instructing the workers to work overtime. Manager Liao expressed difficulty, suggesting they might need to reduce steps like "polishing the beads on the edge" or "decreasing the inlay work on the smaller pieces" to meet the deadline, despite Rui Hua's commitment to high quality.

Yu Yi, however, insisted on early delivery, regardless of the methods used, thinking to himself that "it's just cutting out one step, it's not that important," and that "getting the cash liquidity back and retrieving the stocks is the highest priority." Gao Hui arrived to have Yu Zhi sign contracts for the Hui Xin series, which was about to enter the market. She congratulated him on his upcoming engagement with a sarcastic tone, saying she "can't wait."

Yu Zhi told her that if her congratulations were sincere, he appreciated them, but he doubted she was there just for that. Gao Hui presented overseas orders and domestic distribution plans for his signature. Yu Zhi cautioned her to pay close attention to product quality, as their initial publicity had created high expectations, and he didn't want their reputation harmed. Gao Hui responded by asserting that her products "always exceed expectations," unlike "some people who only live in lies."

Before leaving, she cryptically advised him not to get "too involved" at the engagement party, warning that "the higher the hopes, the bigger the disappointment." She did not reveal Mu Ziyun and Gao Jie's relationship. Gao Jie spoke with Yu Zhi's grandmother, explaining her family situation and Pan Yue's condition, clarifying that Pan Yue was not suffering from an illness but became unstable after an emotional trauma.

She apologized for Pan Yue's behavior at the tea house and for covering it up. The grandmother kindly dismissed her apologies, stating that every family has difficulties and she didn't blame either Pan Yue or Gao Jie. She then suggested it would be "unusual" if the bride's family didn't attend the engagement ceremony. Though she knew Gao Jie and Gao Hai didn't get along, she encouraged Gao Jie to be more understanding of her father.

The grandmother urged Gao Jie to call her "Grandma," which Gao Jie did. As a gift, the grandmother presented a stock transfer agreement for 2% of Rui Hua's shares, explaining it was a tradition for every Yu family daughter-in-law. Gao Jie immediately declined, stating her love for Yu Zhi was not for anything else, and she didn't want others in the company to think otherwise.

The grandmother countered that Rui Hua was their "joint enterprise and dream," and from a business perspective, the 2% shares would motivate Gao Jie to work harder for Rui Hua. She then insisted Gao Jie take the agreement home to consider it, assuring her it wasn't too late to sign after the engagement party. Gao Jie found herself wanting to call Gao Hai, inwardly acknowledging that despite her tough act, she had memorized his number. However, she hesitated.

Her thoughts were interrupted by a call from Pinzhen, who reminded her about their dress fitting appointment. Gao Jie quickly agreed to head over. Yu Yi brought Gao Hui to discuss business, which she initially found inappropriate, stating they didn't need to see each other outside the company if it was just an excuse. However, she looked up and was deeply moved to see a large billboard for the "Hui Xin Series," realizing Yu Yi was behind it.

Yu Yi confirmed he did it to fulfill his promise of making her name known, adding that it was "just the beginning." Gao Hui thanked him but also questioned why he would do something with no expected return, calling him "silly." Yu Yi calmly replied he simply wanted to pursue her and told her to take her time in deciding whether to agree.

Gao Hui confessed that her heart only held Yu Zhi, making her feel unworthy of Yu Yi's kindness. Yu Yi countered that her waiting for Yu Zhi was "meaningless" since Yu Zhi only had Gao Jie in his heart. Gao Hui then retorted, "Aren't you the same?" to which Yu Yi firmly declared that if she could wait for Yu Zhi, he could wait for her, and he would "not give up."

At the dress shop, Gao Jie quickly decided on a "Sabrina" wedding dress after trying on only one, which Pinzhen found too simple. The salesperson explained its design focused on showcasing the collarbone, which suited Gao Jie perfectly. Pinzhen noted that Yu Zhi had likely already custom-ordered a dress for Gao Jie, as he had tasked Pinzhen with discovering her style and size. Gao Jie then sought Pinzhen's advice on whether to send an invitation to Gao Hai.

She explained that with her mother unable to attend and other relatives also absent, she felt it was important, especially since he was her biological father. Pinzhen vehemently disagreed, reminding Gao Jie of Gao Hai's past abandonment and the suffering he caused. Pinzhen concluded that Gao Jie's willingness to let go of her hatred for her father was a testament to her deep love for Yu Zhi.

Gao Jie then presented Pinzhen with a necklace she had designed herself, featuring a peach flower, hoping it would bring Pinzhen romance. Pinzhen loved the gift, expressing her wish for a "tall, handsome, hot-as-a-peach guy." A package for Gao Hai arrived, which Gao Hui intercepted. Noticing Gao Jie's name as the shipper, she opened it to find an engagement invitation for Gao Jie and Yu Zhi.

Gao Hui still handed the invitation to Gao Hai, who was deeply moved, exclaiming, "This means she's forgiven me!" Gao Hui attempted to temper his excitement, suggesting the invitation was merely a formality from the groom's side. However, Gao Hai expressed even greater joy that Gao Hui herself had delivered it, seeing it as a sign of her maturity. Gao Hai shared his biggest wish: for both his daughters to have "good husbands and good marriages."

Gao Hui offered a symbolic smile, inwardly contemplating that it was "not certain yet" whether the engagement would actually take place. Yu Zhi was preoccupied trying to locate Rui Hua's largest shareholder, Zhou Weixian. Gao Jie, upon hearing this, was surprised to learn that the grandmother was not Rui Hua's largest shareholder. Yu Zhi explained that ten years ago, the grandmother had transferred 33% of her shares to Zhou Weixian to save the company from bankruptcy.

Gao Jie then produced the 2% share transfer agreement the grandmother had given her, offering it to Yu Zhi. Yu Zhi gently refused, telling her to "think of it as private money and put it away safely."

He added that since they were "going to be a family soon," there was no need to divide what was hers and what was his, assuring her that these shares would give her "a stronger voice at the Board of Directors' meeting in the future." Yu Yi received notification that the factory's "Phoenix Seeking Phoenix" series products had shipped. Gao Hui accompanied him, wanting to inspect the quality, but Yu Yi quickly stopped her.

His anxiousness to receive payment sparked suspicion in Gao Hui, but Yu Yi remained tight-lipped about his financial situation. The artisans in the custom design group, however, were thrilled about the successful shipment of their products. Mu Ziyun offered to help Gao Jie pick out dowry items for her engagement, stating that despite her personal dislike for Yu Zhi, she wouldn't let Gao Jie marry without a proper dowry and be looked down upon.

She then deliberately brought up the 2% of Rui Hua shares the grandmother intended to give Gao Jie, advising her to "accept it generously." Seeing Gao Jie's hesitation, Mu Ziyun suggested that Gao Jie could "temporarily transfer the shares" to her, promising to return them once the custom design group became stable. Gao Jie flatly refused, stating she "can't easily transfer Rui Hua's shares" and also "can't help you go against Yu Zhi."

Mu Ziyun feigned indifference and suggested they go visit Pan Yue together. Yu Zhi was notified that Gao Jie's custom-ordered wedding dress was ready. Unable to reach Gao Jie, who was happily playing with Pan Yue and Mu Ziyun, he went to pick it up himself and brought it to the sanatorium. Just before entering Pan Yue's room, he saw Mu Ziyun's reflection in a mirror and overheard Gao Jie call Mu Ziyun "aunt".

The revelation stunned Yu Zhi, who now suspected Gao Jie was working with Mu Ziyun. He abruptly left, carelessly discarding the dress on the side of the road. Meanwhile, as Mu Ziyun and Gao Jie watched Pan Yue fall asleep, Mu Ziyun mused about her difficult circumstances over the years, causing Gao Jie to worry. Separately, Gao Hui pressed Yu Yi about potential financial problems, which he denied. Gao Hui, still suspicious, left him with some late-night food.

Back home, Gao Jie began making noodles for Yu Zhi. He asked her what she had done after work. Gao Jie innocently replied that Mu Ziyun had taken her to a jewelry store and then to see Pan Yue. Gao Jie, noticing his unusual attitude, became perplexed.
