Mu Ziyun presented a lawyer's letter to Yu Guanghua, informing him that his unauthorized procurement contract had led to a lawsuit against Rui Hua. Yu Guanghua, oblivious to the gravity of the situation, began arguing with Mu Ziyun, their raised voices attracting Grandma's attention. Upon receiving a call, Yu Zhi rushed home from being with Gao Jie, where he found Grandma deeply upset by Yu Guanghua's actions.

Yu Zhi realized the contract was likely signed under the influence of the woman he had seen Yu Guanghua with the previous night. He declared that Rui Hua would not acknowledge the contract and Yu Guanghua would be left to face the legal consequences alone. Yu Guanghua panicked. Mu Ziyun then produced photos of him with the woman, threatening a sexual assault charge if they refused to recognize the contract. Overwhelmed, Grandma fainted and was rushed to the hospital.

Yu Guanghua desperately pleaded with Grandma for help, but she was too weak to respond. He then turned to Mu Ziyun, who ignored him. Still desperate, Yu Guanghua followed Yu Zhi out of the hospital room, but Yu Zhi remained silent. Gao Jie visited her mother, Pan Yue, at the nursing home, vowing to surpass Gao Hui and Wu Xiaoci with her skills to vindicate Pan Yue's design.

Meanwhile, Gao Hai, noticing Gao Hui hadn't gone to work, went to check on her. Gao Hui immediately accused Gao Jie of harming her. Gao Hai then brought soup to Gao Jie, urging her not to antagonize Gao Hui. Gao Jie was annoyed, but Gao Hai continued to preach about sisterly harmony. Gao Jie angrily retorted that Gao Hai was twisting the facts and questioned why she should forgive them after they had ruined everything.

Later, Yu Zhi rested on Gao Jie's lap at home, finding solace from his exhaustion. He teased her about her demanding schedule, being a "watchman" at the factory during the day and a designer by night. Gao Jie mentioned finding a client list titled "Inlaying love and appreciation," and Yu Zhi explained it as a Rui Hua tradition where Grandma sends gifts to long-time clients to show gratitude. They shared a tender moment.

Yu Zhi then had to deal with the fallout from Yu Guanghua's contract. He met with Mr. Zhang, the other party, who was unyielding in his demand for money and completely unfazed by Yu Zhi's threats. Meanwhile, Gao Jie was diligently monitoring the factory. Master Wang, the factory foreman, called Mu Ziyun, expressing his frustration that Gao Jie was so tough to deal with. Mu Ziyun simply told him to follow Gao Jie's instructions.

Separately, Director Ju called Gao Jie, informing her that Wu Xiaoci had framed her and that he had evidence. He told Gao Jie this was her last chance to leverage Wu Xiaoci's downfall for her own success. Later, Yu Zhi brought night snacks to Gao Jie, who was still working late. He affectionately teased her about being jealous after seeing his pictures with Gao Hui. He suggested they go public with their relationship, but Gao Jie worried about the impact.

Gao Jie explained that the factory workers were blaming the design draft for problems, so she brought it back to find solutions. Yu Zhi, despite her efforts, lamented that his girlfriend, a designer, had to do an assistant's job by going to the factory. At a meeting to select the summer's featured product, Yu Zhi announced that the best design would be part of the Hui Xin series.

A design inspired by Gao Hui was presented, featuring a 3D heart-shaped pendant. Yu Zhi critiqued the design, pointing out that a 4-centimeter pendant would be too heavy, like a "dumbbell," and impractical for a young client. He expressed frustration that no finished samples were available, noting complaints from the factory. Mu Ziyun intervened, attributing the delay to designers being focused on new designs, causing factory oversight.

Yu Zhi then mandated that designers must supervise the completion of their own products at the factory. After the meeting, Gao Hui angrily confronted Gao Jie, blaming her for the delays and threatening to fire her if she didn't produce samples within three days. Gao Jie accepted the challenge. Later, Gao Hui, speaking with Director Ye, confidently predicted Gao Jie's failure to produce samples and declared her intention to ensure Gao Jie's departure.

Yu Yi visited a recuperating Gao Hui, who was upset that Yu Zhi hadn't come to see her. Yu Yi urged Gao Hui to take her medicine, but Gao Hui, who was only feigning illness, still insisted her design was flawless. Yu Yi promised to help her buy time, and Gao Hui resolved not to wait idly. Wu Xiaoci, seeing Yu Yi's concern, advised Gao Hui to stop obsessing over Yu Zhi, emphasizing his dedication to Rui Hua.

Wu Xiaoci later sought Yu Yi's help in choosing a tie as a gift for Yu Zhi, but Yu Yi informed her that Yu Zhi doesn't wear ties. With an older craftsman, Gao Jie successfully modified the design, simplifying the production process without compromising its aesthetic appeal. The craftsman praised Gao Jie's inherited talent. To get the modified design into production, Gao Jie asked an older acquaintance ("Auntie") for help, which she readily offered.

The next morning, Yu Zhi playfully reminded Gao Jie that it was their 100-day reunion anniversary, surprising her. They agreed to block out time for a date that night. Confident in Gao Jie's impending failure, Gao Hui instructed her subordinate to prepare a resignation letter for Gao Jie. She then called a meeting with Yu Zhi and Yu Yi to discuss replacing the factory.

Meanwhile, Grandma, after reviewing a satisfactory sample for the Plain Gold Group, learned that the factory was overtaxed by the Inlay Group's challenging samples, potentially impacting other productions. Concerned, she decided to visit the factory herself. Upon arrival, she found the workers on strike, complaining about Gao Hui's unproducible designs and arrogant attitude. They presented Gao Jie's modified design, praising its simplicity and elegance, which significantly improved the chances of production.

Grandma then presided over a meeting with Gao Hui, Yu Zhi, and other staff. Master Wang directly informed Gao Hui that her designs were problematic and could not be produced. Gao Hui, still defiant, claimed Rui Hua's craftsmen were unskilled and insisted on outsourcing the production. Grandma interrupted their argument, questioning why the alternative design had not been adopted. She then called Gao Jie into the meeting. Yu Zhi was taken aback. Gao Jie presented her simplified design.

Gao Hui vehemently rejected it, accusing Gao Jie of ruining her original concept. Grandma, displeased with Gao Hui's arrogance and impracticality, dismissed Yu Zhi and Yu Yi's attempts to mediate. She ordered that Gao Jie's plan be implemented and assigned Gao Jie full responsibility for the Hui Xin series, from sampling to market launch.

Gao Jie felt a pang of guilt, realizing that her initial request for Master Wang to appeal to Grandma had escalated into a strike and had even led to Yu Zhi being reprimanded. Yu Zhi secretly texted Gao Jie, arranging to meet her by the riverside after work. After the meeting, Gao Jie's colleagues congratulated her, while Director Ye and Gao Hui remained outwardly dismissive, challenging her ability to produce the final product.

Yu Yi later discussed Grandma's decision with Yu Zhi, who was tasked with authorizing Gao Jie's modifications to Gao Hui's design. Yu Yi expressed concern about Gao Hui's likely negative reaction and his own belief that she, as Wu Xiaoci's daughter, was an industry rising star on whom all hopes should be placed, thus implicitly disapproving of Gao Jie.

He once again cautioned Yu Zhi against mixing personal feelings with work, to which Yu Zhi countered, questioning Yu Yi's own impartiality concerning Gao Hui. Yu Yi remained silent. Separately, Mu Ziyun's earlier machinations had indeed spurred Gao Jie to escalate the factory issue, which served as a challenge to Yu Zhi.

Internally, however, Mu Ziyun was conflicted about how to handle Gao Jie, unwilling to directly sabotage her but acknowledging that if the situation became unmanageable, Gao Jie's departure might be a necessary, albeit regrettable, outcome for both. Gao Hai, wracked with guilt for his past actions, took Pan Yue to a doctor who confirmed her psychological condition was treatable but at a high cost.

Gao Hai insisted money was no object and secretly arranged to pay for Pan Yue's treatment, instructing the nursing staff to tell Gao Jie that the costs were covered by a welfare policy, and also asking Pan Yue not to tell Gao Jie. Gao Hui gave Yu Yi the tie they had previously seen, as it was his birthday soon, though her mind remained fixed on Yu Zhi. Yu Yi, holding the gift, felt joyful.

Yu Zhi continued his investigation into Yu Guanghua's affair, meeting Mr. Zhang's wife. Upon seeing a stack of photos, she panicked and revealed Mr. Zhang's and Mu Ziyun's involvement. Yu Zhi recorded the confession and used it to confront Mr. Zhang, who was already struggling with financial difficulties. However, Mu Ziyun swiftly intervened, signing a new contract with Mr. Zhang, effectively thwarting all of Yu Zhi's carefully laid plans.

Later, Yu Zhi and Yu Yi found Yu Guanghua causing a scene in a restaurant. Yu Zhi sent Yu Yi away, helped the waitress Yu Guanghua pushed, and paid his bill. After the woman with Yu Guanghua left, Yu Guanghua tried to lecture Yu Zhi about filial piety, to which Yu Zhi retorted, reminding him that his mother committed suicide because of Yu Guanghua.

Later, Mu Ziyun presented the newly signed contract to Grandma, announcing that the lawsuit against Rui Hua was resolved. Grandma was relieved and, unaware of Mu Ziyun's manipulation, expressed her heartfelt appreciation for her capable daughter-in-law. After Grandma was discharged from the hospital, Yu Zhi continued to bicker with Mu Ziyun. Grandma, seeing Yu Guanghua, angrily struck him, but Yu Guanghua, upon learning Mu Ziyun had resolved his predicament, quickly began to flatter her.

Yu Zhi, having worked tirelessly only to be outmaneuvered by Mu Ziyun, wore a grim expression of defeat. After work, Gao Jie and Yu Zhi met by the riverside. Gao Jie apologized and presented him with handmade cufflinks. Yu Zhi, whose mood was initially low due to Yu Guanghua, was deeply touched and embraced her tightly. As Yu Zhi carried Gao Jie back to their parked car, they discovered it had been towed.

Undeterred, Yu Zhi carried her all the way to a climbing gym, a place significant as it was where they first reunited after returning to China. Yu Zhi asked Gao Jie to retrieve a bag from the climbing wall. After much effort, Gao Jie finally got it, only to find Yu Zhi no longer there. She looked around frantically, then spotted him amidst roses and balloons, with a gift laid out before him.

As Gao Jie opened the larger gift, she saw balloons bearing Yu Zhi's heartfelt confession. The true gift, however, was the bag she had just retrieved. Gao Jie closed her eyes, and upon touching the item inside, recognized it as her competition piece, "Love of the World," which Yu Zhi had specifically bought back for her. Gao Jie was deeply moved.
