After hearing Feng Tianlan's words, Wang Putao found him somewhat amusing. Yesterday, she had simply had too much to drink and wanted to take a bath. She accidentally slipped and fell into the bathtub. She initially thought Feng Tianlan was joking, but when she saw him leaving, she realized he was serious. Not long after Feng Tianlan left, a delivery person arrived. It turned out that Feng Tianlan had arranged for the delivery person to take Wang Putao from the hospital to the hotel. When Wang Putao heard about this absurd order, she couldn't help but burst into laughter. When the doctor came to process her discharge, she explicitly told the doctor that she had no intention of leaving the hospital.

By the final exams, one of them ranked second to last, and the other ranked last. Feng Tianlan's parents believed that their son was being influenced by Zhang Haibei's bad behavior. They couldn't help but remind him that their family background was different from Zhang Haibei's. Since making a pact with Zhang Haibei to get into college together, Feng Tianlan started studying hard. However, for some reason, Zhang Haibei didn't show up at school for several days in a row. Later, two police officers came to the school to gather information. Through their questioning, Feng Tianlan learned that Zhang Haibei had met with an accident. Since Feng Tianlan had been spending time with Zhang Haibei recently, the police wanted to know if there had been any unusual behavior from Zhang Haibei. It was later revealed to Feng Tianlan that Zhang Haibei had drowned.
