Han Che dismissed the idea of Lin Jiayi being his "goddess," admitting he might have mistaken the person he was indebted to.
Shocked, Gu Li reminded Han Che of his hyperthymesia. Han Che explained that during his high fever, he was in a coma and only heard a name being called but never clearly saw the person. He decided they must attend the birthday party to uncover the truth.

She then casually mentioned to Han Che that during the night their grandmother passed away, when he had a high fever, it was Nuannuan who stayed up all night caring for him. Han Che’s expression shifted, a flicker of realization on his face.
Elsewhere, Nuannuan confronted Fang Hanchen about his canceled projects. He tried to downplay the situation, but his nonchalance only deepened her guilt. Han Che, who had overheard their conversation, watched her walk away, looking conflicted. When Lin Jiayi regained consciousness, the three women tearfully reconciled, acknowledging their deep sisterly bond. Later, Han Che found Nuannuan and returned the hairpin he had recovered from the pool.
Misunderstanding, Nuannuan asked if he wanted her to return it to Lin Jiayi for him, exasperating Han Che. Frustrated, he went to play basketball with Gu Li, who bluntly analyzed his anger, suggesting it stemmed from realizing he had mistaken his benefactor. Later, Nuannuan challenged Han Che to a final memory game she named "Hotpot." They would each choose a challenge and answer questions, with the highest cumulative score winning. Han Che chose astrophysics, correctly identifying that Halley's Comet reappears every 76 years. Nuannuan countered with a lyric recall challenge from famous songs.
With his perfect memory, Han Che recited every line flawlessly. Conceding defeat, Nuannuan declared him the winner. Han Che accepted, stating that he and Hotpot would cherish the opportunity to stay.
