Ling Sansan accused him, revealing she knew his phone and tablet password was 0215, which she believed he dedicated to an Aquarius ex-girlfriend. Bi Guan was surprised and defended his privacy, but Sansan insisted she had checked and it wasn't a family birthday.
Bi Guan then clarified that 0215 was the birthday of his idol, Galileo, the famous astronomer known for his experiments at the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Embarrassed, Sansan apologized, admitting that an Aquarius "class beauty" he knew was indeed very pretty. Bi Guan teased her for being the first woman ever jealous of Galileo. He then emphasized the importance of openly communicating to avoid cold wars, confessing how upset he had been.
Sansan, in turn, affectionately invited him to engage in some "open communication" with her. Meanwhile, Coli's employee informed her that Fluffeee, the new brand, had a physical store located at Wang Chen's previous "Lady Ugly" shop. Coli observed the store's new, vibrant design style, noting Wang Chen's unexpected use of zippers and improved copywriting and photos for the online store. She decided to visit the shop in disguise.
Upon arrival, Coli was astonished to find the store bustling with customers, a stark contrast to its previous quiet state. She was even more surprised to see Miao Yu and Wang Chen, who were former business rivals, now working together. Just as she pondered their collaboration, Luo Li, a devoted fan, recognized Coli despite her disguise.
Luo Li enthusiastically shared that Miao Yu and Wang Chen were now partners and then overwhelmed Coli by listing her favorite herbal tea, cookies, and even the perfume she liked on Weibo, causing Coli to flee the store. At a funding dinner for their new brand, Miao Yu tried to shield Wang Chen from the pressure, instructing her to simply eat while he handled the toasts. He humbly introduced himself and their new venture to various business leaders.
However, when one of the guests, Mr. Li, approached Wang Chen to propose a drink, Wang Chen, having transformed into Coffee, asserted that she could drink for herself. Coffee then proceeded to drink multiple rounds, outperforming Mr. Li and the other guests, much to Miao Yu's astonishment. The impressed clients praised her "gifted" drinking ability and suggested future "healthy meetings." Afterward, a tipsy Wang Chen, still as Coffee, collapsed.
Miao Yu carried her home on his back, feeling a sweet pang as he heard her drunkenly mumbling as Coffee, protecting him and refusing to let anyone force him to drink. As they arrived, Aunt Liu, their neighbor, expressed concern for Wang Chen, noting that even if they were just roommates, Miao Yu should take good care of her, suggesting honey water. Miao Yu gently dismissed the suggestion and took Wang Chen inside.
Aunt Liu watched them with a smile, remarking that they made "quite a match." Ling Sansan was on the phone with Bi Guan, who was preoccupied with a new "patient" consulting him. Sansan quickly deduced that the "patient" was Qin Sirui, Wang Chen's ex-boyfriend, and warned Bi Guan that he was being tricked into revealing information about the comet. She frantically asked if he had told Qin Sirui everything.
Qin Sirui, having obtained the information, instructed his staff to prepare a to-go brunch. The next morning, Miao Yu offered Wang Chen hangover tea. Wang Chen, embarrassed about her behavior as Coffee, asked if she had done anything "over the top." Miao Yu reassured her that she hadn't and mentioned he was taking Coffee for a morning jog. When Qin Sirui arrived at their apartment, Wang Chen initially mistook him for Miao Yu.
Qin Sirui expressed concern for her, noting her "joint renting" situation and inquiring if she needed help, emphasizing that they could still be friends. Just then, Ling Sansan called Wang Chen, urgently informing her that Bi Guan had been tricked, and Qin Sirui now knew all about the comet. She warned Wang Chen to be prepared, but Wang Chen quickly ended the call to speak with Qin Sirui outside.
Outside, Qin Sirui told Wang Chen he understood her situation with Miao Yu, believing their interactions were unwilling acts due to the comet and a confidentiality agreement. He apologized for his past misunderstanding. He then confessed that during his travels, he couldn't stop thinking about her and realized he "couldn't get over her," asking for another chance. Miao Yu, returning from his walk with Coffee, saw them talking. Wang Chen introduced Miao Yu as her roommate.
Miao Yu greeted Qin Sirui, who remarked he "understood" their situation and the need for "frequent mutual help." Miao Yu then went inside and secretly listened from behind the door. Wang Chen told Qin Sirui she hadn't considered his proposal and couldn't give him an answer yet. Qin Sirui left her a new dish from his restaurant for "feedback," stating he trusted her taste. When Wang Chen came back inside, she noticed Miao Yu's awkwardness, his hands fidgeting.
Miao Yu questioned Wang Chen about Qin Sirui, wondering if they were reconciling. On the phone, Ling Sansan pressed Wang Chen about her feelings for Qin Sirui. Wang Chen admitted she didn't know, feeling it was a missed opportunity. Despite her uncertainty, a sweet smile played on her face when Sansan pressed her to consider Miao Yu, but Sansan firmly told her to consider the past as over. Sansan then slyly asked Wang Chen if, after being roommates and partners with Miao Yu for a while, there were "any sparks" between them. Wang Chen blushed and denied it, prompting Sansan to jokingly ask if it had become a "bonfire." Qin Sirui then arrived with afternoon tea, noting he hadn't received feedback on his previous dishes and commenting on Wang Chen's new design style, particularly her use of scarlet, a color she avoided during her Sunray days. He invited her for Christmas dinner.
Miao Yu intercepted Qin Sirui's gift, accepting the afternoon tea and stating he was Wang Chen's partner. He then rudely rejected Qin Sirui's dinner invitation on Wang Chen's behalf, claiming she was busy. Qin Sirui countered, asserting Wang Chen's right to accept any pursuit, including his, as their misunderstanding was resolved. He challenged Miao Yu, asking what right he had to intervene. Qin Sirui acknowledged Miao Yu's e-commerce background but warned him against controlling Wang Chen.
He then extended the Christmas dinner invitation to both Wang Chen and Miao Yu to celebrate their new brand. Miao Yu immediately accepted for both of them, much to Wang Chen's annoyance, who felt he had forced her hand. Miao Yu dismissed her concerns, stating it was "just a meal."
That evening, at Qin Sirui's restaurant, which he had cleared for them, a waiter informed them that this was similar to when Qin Sirui first confessed his feelings to Wang Chen, as he had closed the restaurant that day too. Miao Yu, feeling the tension, instructed Wang Chen to eat quickly so they could leave. Wang Chen confessed she was afraid of embarrassment and unsure how to act.
Qin Sirui then welcomed them and presented a dish, reminding Wang Chen it was from her first visit. Miao Yu sarcastically commented on the "cultural innovative delicacy," asking if there would be poetry or music, which Qin Sirui quickly dismissed as "noise." Qin Sirui offered Wang Chen a cocktail named "Chen" (her name), explaining it was made to her taste, and apologized to Miao Yu if his drink wasn't to his liking, as he didn't know his preferences.
After a toast, Miao Yu tried to leave, but Qin Sirui stopped them. He presented Wang Chen with a framed collage of all her past delivery receipts from his restaurant, calling it a "beautiful memory" that deserved to be preserved. Miao Yu scoffed, remarking that cherishing "memories" was an "ex's patent." Qin Sirui then pressed Wang Chen for her answer to his earlier proposal, asking if she would give him another chance.
As Wang Chen hesitated, Miao Yu intervened, telling Qin Sirui to "let her go" as she was "not Cinderella." Uncomfortable with the escalating confrontation, Wang Chen quickly thanked Qin Sirui for dinner and pulled Miao Yu away to go home. Walking home, Miao Yu was silent and moody. Wang Chen then playfully accused him of pretending to be upset to trick her into singing.
He denied it, claiming he was not that fragile and was annoyed she had dragged him away before he could eat dessert. As they continued their playful bickering, he was forced to wear the cat ears, reciting, "Don't force others to do what you don't wanna do." Wang Chen feigned misunderstanding, and they continued to tease each other.
Later, Miao Yu tried to understand the subtle differences between scarlet and rust red using hexadecimal color codes, but Wang Chen explained colors through intuitive analogies, like "burlywood" for tree trunks, "mintcream" for mint-flavored cream, and "palevioletred" for the complex mood of liking someone without knowing their feelings. Miao Yu expressed his awe at her poetic descriptions.
He asked why she was suddenly interested in colors, and she replied that as a "walking dictionary," she couldn't tolerate a blind spot in her knowledge. Wang Chen playfully called him a "narcissist" before heading off. Elsewhere, a customer at a store inquired about the Fluffeee brand, and a saleswoman explained its unusual origin, involving the founder of Walnut and the former "Lady Ugly" who had once criticized Walnut's designs.
