Shi Xia took Qing Feng to the street to buy a gift for Hou Chi. While shopping, Qing Feng admired a women's dress. Shi Xia encouraged her to try it on, assuring her that no one else would know. Despite her reservations about her male disguise, Qing Feng agreed. Meanwhile, Yi Yaogua had been secretly following them, curious about their activities.
He was utterly captivated when he saw Qing Feng in the dress, accidentally making a sound that startled her, though she couldn't see him. Shi Xia remained oblivious, unaware that Yi Yaogua had discovered Qing Feng's true identity. Shi Xia also purchased a beautiful glass cover, a tribute from the Tianlai country.

Yi Yaogua remarked on the immense treasure required for a single ring, finally understanding its allure for women. Later, Hou Chi, seeking to understand "romance," consulted Yi Yaogua. Yi Yaogua, noting the "water" radical in the Chinese characters for "romance," deduced it must be water-related and arranged a romantic boat outing on a lake for Hou Chi and Shi Xia.
Shi Xia was deeply touched by the enchanting evening, telling Hou Chi she would forever cherish the memory of that day. Hou Chi then presented her with the ring, a leaf-designed piece, placing it on her finger. She retrieved a crystal ball from the water, revealing a miniature of their courtyard, containing records of their past life together. She explained that as Alliance Head, he would reside in the Celestial Palace and might not often return to Yuhua Sect, so the crystal ball was a reminder of home. She confirmed her presence within the miniature, assuring him that it would always be "summer" inside, irrespective of the seasons. Hou Chi expressed his profound appreciation for the gift.
Having learned Qing Feng's true gender, Yi Yaogua decided to pursue her. He presented her with the dress she had tried on earlier, and then many rings, explaining that each ring was worth a house. He boldly proposed that she become his woman, promising that all Yi family properties would be registered in her name. Qing Feng was very embarrassed by his directness and materialistic approach, and she quickly ran off, leaving a confused Yi Yaogua to chase after her.

Meanwhile, Shi Dong had been on a hunger strike for five days, determined to prevent Qiu Li from leaving the barrier. Fearing he would starve to death, Qiu Li cleverly pretended to revert to her former self, Bai Li. She called out to Er Ha, urging him to quickly enter the barrier as Shi Dong had fainted. Er Ha, delighted that Bai Li had supposedly returned, rushed in to assist Shi Dong.
Both Shi Dong and Er Ha were overjoyed, believing Bai Li was finally back. Shi Xia and Bi Hong arrived in Xianmo Town. Shi Xia wished to observe Hou Chi's Alliance Head inauguration from a distance, unwilling to disrupt his significant moment, and Bi Hong promised to take her traveling after the ceremony for a new beginning. In Xianmo Town, they unexpectedly encountered Yi Yaogua and Qing Feng.
Yi Yaogua, having been informed by Yuan Zhao that Shi Xia and Bi Hong had eloped, angrily confronted Shi Xia, accusing her of betrayal. Qing Feng, however, refused to believe that Shi Xia would act in such a way, insisting there must be a hidden reason, and asked what Shi Xia was holding. Shi Xia attempted to conceal a seedling from the withered tree in Hou Chi's courtyard but accidentally dropped it. At that moment, Hou Chi, who had followed them, appeared and deftly caught the falling seedling. Shi Xia turned, and their eyes met.
