> My Dear Brothers Recap

Shi Xia, contemplating Hou Chi's absence from the Yuhua Sect room, found herself in a dilemma, worrying about the conflict between her two brothers, Shi Dong and Hou Chi. She imagined them fighting over her and realized her intervention would be futile. Convinced she needed to find Hou Chi, she decided to clarify her non-affiliation with the Devil Sect to him when Shi Dong was not around.

Uncertain, she used a doll for divination; believing it pointed north, she set out to find Hou Chi. Meanwhile, Er Ha reported to Shi Dong that no Yuhua Sect disciples had registered, meaning Shi Xia was residing alone. Relieved, Shi Dong ordered his guardians to maintain strict surveillance on Shi Xia's room, threatening severe injury or death to any man attempting entry, explicitly targeting Hou Chi.

At Yuhua Mountain, Yuan Zhao expressed concern over Shi Xia's rescue by the Devil Lord, seeing it as evidence of her unusual importance despite her lack of spiritual roots. He dismissed Bi Hong's attempts to portray it as a misunderstanding, citing Shi Xia's past trespasses and deliberate closeness to Hou Chi. Yuan Zhao feared the Devil Lord's actions were a ploy to obstruct Hou Chi's participation in the Immortal Alliance election.

He dispatched disciples to assist Hou Chi, and Bi Hong volunteered, arguing his unique position to mediate between Hou Chi and Shi Xia. Yuan Zhao permitted him to go but sternly warned him against protecting Shi Xia, reiterating that their sole mission was to ensure Hou Chi's participation in the election.

In Immortal Devil Town, Shi Xia diligently inquired about a "handsome Immortal with a poker face," unaware that Hou Chi was nearby at a doll stall, admiring the handmade figures. They narrowly missed each other. A doll vendor eventually hinted that the Immortal Shi Xia was looking for might be the one she just missed. Moments later, Er Ha confronted Shi Xia, stating that Shi Dong was looking for her and attempting to take her back.

Shi Xia fiercely resisted, threatening Er Ha with Shi Dong's punishment. Impressed, Er Ha remarked that she truly matched Shi Dong's formidable temper. Shi Xia soon found herself amidst a bustling street play depicting a battle between Hou Chi and the Devil Lord. Hou Chi, who had interrupted the performance while searching for his sister, engaged in a real fight with the actors. Recognizing the genuine Hou Chi on stage, Shi Dong (the Devil Lord) dramatically joined the fray.

Despite Shi Dong's theatrical grandstanding and attempts at powerful moves, Hou Chi easily overpowered him. Shi Xia arrived and halted their escalating battle. She explained to Hou Chi that Shi Dong had rescued her and brought her to Immortal Devil Town with no malicious intent, emphatically denying any ties to the Devil Sect. To her astonishment, Hou Chi believed her without hesitation, simply stating, "You are my sister."

Hou Chi then led Shi Xia to the doll stall and purchased the very doll he had admired earlier for her. Shortly after, Shi Dong appeared and, in a fit of pique, bought all the remaining dolls on the stall, initially declaring them for Shi Xia before correcting himself to "for myself" under Hou Chi's watchful eye. Hou Chi playfully suggested Shi Dong must suffer from severe insomnia to need so many dolls.

Back at the Immortal Devil Inn, Shi Dong demanded separate accommodations for Hou Chi and Shi Xia. Hou Chi, oblivious to the customs of the mortal world, insisted they had always shared a room at Yuhua Sect, where he would tell her bedtime stories due to her fear of the dark. Frustrated, Shi Dong tried to appeal to the inn's management, but Shi Xia intervened.

Pulling Shi Dong aside, she privately convinced him that she had been acting as an "undercover spy" for him during her time with Hou Chi and could continue to gather intelligence. When Shi Dong remained skeptical, Shi Xia threatened to reveal their true sibling relationship and expose his identity as the fake Devil Lord. This forced Shi Dong to reluctantly concede, and he returned to his own room, ordering Er Ha to escort him.

Meanwhile, Shi Dong's subordinates reported back, confirming they had severely injured a Yuhua Sect disciple as ordered, breaking one hand and one leg. Shi Dong pondered if they had attacked the wrong person. It was revealed that the victim was Yi Yaogua, now bedridden and lamenting his mysterious injuries, unable to accompany Hou Chi. Back at Yuhua Mountain, Bi Hong received a telepathic message from Hou Chi, confirming Shi Xia's safety.

Bi Hong promptly replied, warning Hou Chi that Master Yuan Gui was leading a group down the mountain, which could pose a threat to Shi Xia, urging him to prepare. Despite Qing Feng's remarks about his overly extravagant attire, Bi Hong, along with Qing Feng and Lin Kui, set off with Master Yuan Gui. In their shared room, Shi Xia felt uneasy with the close quarters and Hou Chi's innocent disregard for personal boundaries, inwardly labeling him a "blockhead."

Hou Chi gave her the new doll, but then tried to discard an old, less attractive doll he had made earlier. Shi Xia protested fiercely, reminding him of its sentimental value and innocence. Later, Hou Chi noticed his clothes were torn from his fight with Shi Dong. Seeking to connect with his sister, he recounted "Jianghu experience" he had learned from Yi Yaogua, explaining he came to Immortal Devil Town to rescue her.

Shi Xia clarified that her presence with Shi Dong was a misunderstanding and that Shi Dong had brought her because he sensed she "missed" Hou Chi. When Hou Chi asked for the meaning of "missing," Shi Xia described it as a deep longing for someone. Misinterpreting her explanation, Hou Chi unexpectedly kissed her, believing he was offering her "marshmallows," leaving Shi Xia utterly bewildered. Later, Shi Dong, still annoyed with Hou Chi, arranged for a lavish dinner with spicy dishes.

Shi Xia and Shi Dong enthusiastically enjoyed a "hot-chilly pot" and Er Ha's freshly made "stinky tofu," which Shi Xia declared "amazing." However, Hou Chi was completely repulsed by the pungent smell of the stinky tofu, exclaiming that it must be poisonous. Shi Xia, enjoying her meal, lightheartedly tried to persuade him to taste a piece.
