Lin Xi returned home and found her parents busy in the kitchen, so she hugged her mother from behind and expressed her longing for both of them. During dinner, her father saw Lin Xi's report card and was very proud. Afterward, her father asked about Ji Junxing, Lin Xi was vague and quickly ate a few mouthfuls of rice before running upstairs.
At night, Lin Xi got the new phone her mother bought for her and found the message Ji Junxing sent, but because she was in a bad mood, she decided to ignore him. Xie Ang called Ji Junxing and told him that his father had arranged for him to attend a lecture during the holiday. Fortunately, he met Jiang Yimian, but Jiang Yimian was busy talking on the phone with Lin Xi.

Several people chased after the two. Just as they were about to hit Xie Ang, Ji Junxing appeared, and the group started fighting. Jiang Yimian quickly grabbed a large cola from the side and joined the fight.
After everything was over, Ji Junxing said he wanted Lin Xi's address. Jiang Yimian initially disagreed, but when she heard that Ji Junxing was going to give Lin Xi a gift, she happily sent Lin Xi's address to Ji Junxing. In Lin Xi's family's supermarket, Ji Junxing saw that Lin Xi was ignoring him and didn't want to leave directly. Lin Xi originally wanted to make him leave but almost knocked over a shelf.
Lin Xi's father walked into the supermarket and saw the two people pulling at each other. During dinner, Lin Xi's parents competed to put food on Ji Junxing's plate. Ji Junxing lied that he was invited by Lin Xi and even showed a video of his younger brother Lu Chi's birthday. Lin Xi watched her parents excitedly watching Lu Chi's photos and videos, feeling confused. Ji Junxing shook his head and said nothing.
Lin Xi's father invited Ji Junxing to play basketball together after dinner. Ji Junxing originally intended to go easy on Lin Xi's father but was surprised by his excellent skills and ended up lying exhausted on the court. Lin Xi watched the smiles on her parents' faces as they left the court and felt very emotional. Ji Junxing asked again and finally learned the reason Lin Xi was angry.

Lin Xi looked at the two who wanted to roam around and had to agree to let Ji Junxing stay temporarily. While cycling, Jiang Yimian asked Lin Xi about her situation with Ji Junxing. Lin Xi told Ji Junxing that she had indeed treated him as her brother's shadow before. Hearing Lin Xi's answer, Ji Junxing could only pretend that nothing had happened. Lin Xi thought Ji Junxing wanted to reset everything, but Ji Junxing said he wanted her to get to know the real Ji Junxing again.
