He insisted on sleeping on the floor beside her bed. Lying awake, Lu Fan Fan was filled with complex emotions.
She questioned if they could truly be together, wondering if Liu Ruochen would still recognize her twelve years from now if she suddenly disappeared. She mused on whether their relationship was merely a temporal anomaly or fundamentally flawed from the start. Convinced she needed to be rational for his sake, she resolved to let him go. While they were eating, Liu Ruochen considerately blew on a dumpling to cool it for her. Suddenly, Lu Fan Fan spotted her favorite celebrity, Qian Ming Yue, emerging from a nearby car. Overjoyed, she rushed over to ask for his autograph. After signing, Qian Ming Yue inquired how she recognized him despite his disguise. Lu Fan Fan excitedly declared that she had been his fan since childhood and would recognize him even if he were "reduced to ashes."
Qian Ming Yue then subtly prompted her about their previous encounter, which jogged Lu Fan Fan's memory of their first meeting when she arrived in 2012, and his parting words, "See you again." Driven by a desire to help, Lu Fan Fan called Aunt Lu, the owner of Xian Lu Dessert, to invite her family and Yu Xiao Yue to a thank-you dinner at her new apartment. The next day, Uncle Lu prepared a grand feast. Lu Fan Fan asked everyone to wait for one more guest. To everyone's astonishment, she opened the door to reveal Qian Ming Yue. Aunt Lu and Uncle Lu were star-struck, warmly welcoming the celebrity into their home.
Lu Fan Fan introduced Qian Ming Yue as her friend. During dinner, as Qian Ming Yue offered Yu Xiao Yue some meat, Uncle Lu commented on their resemblance, realizing they were siblings.
