He pleaded for her forgiveness with a heartfelt public apology, declaring his love and willingness to accept Ke Siyi being more important or even to endure her "domestic violence."
He offered to use money saved for a car to buy her comic books, begging for a chance to be responsible. Though Lin Wen initially dismissed him, Zhou Yanxin desperately held onto her, begging her not to date others or ignore him. He admitted his deception but expressed frustration that she was holding a grudge. Lin Wen clarified she wasn't truly angry, but was testing his love and felt hurt when he defended Xu Nuo at the hospital.
Zhou Yanxin maintained that Xu Nuo’s wrongs were his own and promised to condemn Xu Nuo alongside her, even if he couldn't sever ties with him. He reaffirmed his profound love for Lin Wen, finally winning her back. Meanwhile, Xu Nuo passed the Kuanghu rebuild plan to his secretary for immediate implementation. With Wu Dongde assuming the presidency the following week, Xu Nuo used his final days of authority to push the plan through.
Upon hearing the news, Wu Dongde was overjoyed, believing it confirmed Xu Nuo had completely cut ties with Ke Siyi. He celebrated gaining the profitable Kuanghu property without having to make a move himself. Later, Liang Zhixiao excitedly gathered the Kuanghu team, revealing the good news that ten companies had offered sponsorships since their show's finale. Ke Siyi, however, was still worried about their affiliation with Hege Group.
Zhixiao then delivered the devastating news: Xu Nuo had signed the plan to rebuild Kuanghu as his last official act as president. Frozen in disbelief, Ke Siyi wondered aloud if Xu Nuo truly hated her that much. Xu Nuo called his mentor, Jack, questioning a delay in their investment payment. Jack explained that an intention agreement isn't a guarantee and expressed concern that Xu Nuo's emotional state made him a risky "hunter" rather than a steady "farmer."
Understanding, Xu Nuo promised to send a new business plan. Witnessing the call, Zhou Yanxin called Jack a "devil," to which Xu Nuo replied that only a devil could be his mentor. Just then, Ke Siyi arrived at Xu Nuo's door, distraught to find the passcode changed. She banged on the door, calling his name, while inside, Xu Nuo and Zhou Yanxin hid in silence.
As Ke Siyi dejectedly walked away, a concerned Xu Nuo had his subordinate, Uncle Zhang, confirm she was in a daze. He then followed her in his car, watching her slow, dispirited steps but sticking to his plan not to approach her. At the training ground, Li Da subjected You Weiwei and the others to intense drills, demanding to know why Ke Siyi was so distracted.
When his pressure tactics failed on You Weiwei, he turned to Yun Zhu, who, realizing the truth could no longer be hidden, confessed the details of Ke Siyi’s heartbreak. Soon after, Liang Zhixiao discussed sponsor negotiations with Li Da, acknowledging that while these were great opportunities, Ke Siyi’s emotional state was a concern. Their conversation was interrupted by Zhou Yanxin, who arrived with a box of Ke Siyi's belongings from Xu Nuo's home. Silently taking the box, Ke Siyi became lost in sorrowful memories. Enraged by his daughter's despondency, Li Da confronted her, angrily demanding to know what had happened to her optimism and toughness. Moved by the concern of her father and friends, Ke Siyi finally snapped out of her despair, apologizing and embracing them. To lift their spirits, Li Da then offered to treat everyone to karaoke. That night, as Xu Nuo and Zhou Yanxin worked on their "Star-Picking Plan," Lin Wen called to break up with Zhou Yanxin.
Furious over Xu Nuo's actions, she declared they would not reconcile until Ke Siyi had completely forgotten Xu Nuo, stating that Zhou Yanxin's presence only caused Ke Siyi more pain. Zhou Yanxin protested, but Xu Nuo firmly pushed him back to their work. Later, Yun Zhu confided in Ke Siyi that she wanted to forgo her MMA training in America and stay to help revitalize Kuanghu.
Knowing it was Yun Zhu's dream, Ke Siyi lovingly encouraged her to go, become a world champion, and make the Kuanghu name proud. Reassured by Ke Siyi's promise that "home has big sister," Yun Zhu confessed her long-held resentment, admitting she used to feel that their father favored Ke Siyi and thought she hated her. But seeing Ke Siyi so hurt made her realize she cared deeply and wanted to protect her, concluding, "Only I can bully you.
No one else." Releasing their past resentments, the sisters' bond deepened. Empowered by this support, Ke Siyi's strength returned. The next morning, she prepared a bountiful breakfast for everyone, showcasing her newfound energy. Meanwhile, Xu Nuo sat alone in his home, singing mournfully, surrounded by memories of his time with Ke Siyi.
