Xu Nuo, known as an "Enterprise Hunter" and a former student of Wall Street's renowned investment masters, has garnered a reputation for aggressively acquiring deficit-ridden companies, boasting a flawless success rate. A week prior, when Hege Media faced a cash flow crisis, Xu Nuo acquired a significant stake, becoming the second-largest shareholder. This move sparked widespread speculation that all subsidiaries under Hege Group would undergo a severe restructuring, with unprofitable entities facing dissolution. Among these subsidiaries was Kuang Hu Stadium.

Ke Siyi, the daughter of Li Da, Kuang Hu's coach, worried immensely about its fate, knowing the stadium hadn't been profitable for years. Meanwhile, Xu Nuo, viewing Kuang Hu as a valueless venture—a mere combination of "violence and sweat" that didn't earn him money—questioned its long-standing existence. His lawyer and friend, Zhou Yanxin, persuaded him to attend a match, suggesting the club must hold some meaning given its history. Xu Nuo, despite his aversion, reluctantly agreed.

The Dongfang Summit International MMA Championship Semi-finals commenced, featuring Kuang Hu's acclaimed "Goddess of Combat," Li Yunzhu, against the formidable Fei Long team. As Ke Siyi cheered enthusiastically, Xu Nuo quickly grew bored by the "nonsense violence" and decided to leave, believing Li Yunzhu was on the verge of defeat. Ke Siyi, however, recognized her friend's tactical play—feigning weakness to study her opponent before launching a counterattack. Confident in Li Yunzhu's impending turnaround, Ke Siyi also left the venue.

Outside, a loose advertising board nearly struck Xu Nuo, but Ke Siyi swiftly pulled him into an embrace, causing both to tumble to the ground. After an awkward moment, Ke Siyi recognized Xu Nuo as the ruthless new president from the news and seized the opportunity to passionately advocate for Kuang Hu Stadium.

Xu Nuo, while acknowledging her role in saving him, coldly dismissed her plea, asserting that any club's existence depends solely on its commercial value, which the "obsolete stadium" clearly lacked. Infuriated by his cold ingratitude, Ke Siyi could only stomp her feet in frustration as he walked away. Back in his office, Xu Nuo instructed Zhou Yanxin to reclaim Kuang Hu Stadium and dismiss the team within three days.

Zhou Yanxin revealed a critical detail: the late Ex-General Manager Wu had signed a property donation agreement with Li Da 15 years prior. The agreement stipulated that if Li Da coached Kuang Hu for 15 years, the stadium's ownership would transfer from Hege Group to him. The deadline was in three days. Unaware of this, Xu Nuo was determined to prevent the transfer. Simultaneously, Zhixiao, a Hege Media employee and a close friend of Ke Siyi, overheard Xu Nuo's plan.

He rushed to inform Li Da and Ke Siyi, presenting the agreement as an "amulet" that would secure the stadium if Li Da simply remained coach for three more days. However, a frustrated Li Yunzhu, tired of her boxing career, suggested giving up the property rights. Her idea was met with strong opposition, and she retreated to her room. Despite this setback, Ke Siyi resolved to find a way to save Kuang Hu.

The following day, media reporters ambushed Xu Nuo, bombarding him with questions about a hostile takeover of Hege Media. Ke Siyi suddenly appeared, carrying two boxes of balloons, burst through the crowd, grabbed Xu Nuo's hand, and pulled him away, handing him a helmet. Annoyed by the relentless cameras, Xu Nuo put on the helmet and allowed Ke Siyi to drive him away on her motorcycle. However, her poor driving skills caused them to crash onto a nearby lawn.

As they recovered, Ke Siyi pleaded with him not to dismiss Kuang Hu, but Xu Nuo caught her slip-up: she knew about his undisclosed plan. Exposed, Ke Siyi stammered as Xu Nuo coldly tossed her helmet aside and departed. Later, Wu Dongde, the son of Hege's former chairman, met with Li Da. Wu Dongde explained that while his late father cherished Kuang Hu, circumstances had changed.

Understanding the veiled message, Li Da decided to honor his old friend's memory by relinquishing the property rights and returning the donation agreement, stating he couldn't capitalize on a promise when Kuang Hu was struggling. Ke Siyi was devastated by her father's decision. Meanwhile, spurred by Ke Siyi's persistence, Xu Nuo re-evaluated Kuang Hu. He discovered its suburban location was newly designated for development, causing a surge in surrounding land prices.

He realized that demolishing the stadium for a large-scale shopping center would yield immense commercial value. Witnessing the recent chaos, Zhou Yanxin suggested Xu Nuo hire a bodyguard, but he paid no heed, engrossed in his new assessment. With the stadium's property rights gone, Ke Siyi focused on saving the team itself. Her friend, Zhixiao, informed her that Xu Nuo was seeking a personal bodyguard.

Seeing a golden opportunity to get close to Xu Nuo, Ke Siyi began a grueling training regimen. At the interview, Xu Nuo instantly recognized her and challenged her to prove she could ensure his safety within three minutes. To his surprise, Ke Siyi swiftly defeated a much larger opponent in two and a half minutes.

With no reason to reject her, Xu Nuo reluctantly agreed to a one-month probationary period, laying out strict conditions: no intimate physical contact, no prying into his privacy, no harassment outside work, and 24/7 availability. Ke Siyi requested to start a day later, to which Xu Nuo sarcastically consented. Xu Nuo visited his therapist, Dr. Qin, to discontinue his brainwave psychotherapy. After six months, he still felt no joy or sorrow and deemed the therapy ineffective.

He asked to thank the volunteer who assisted him, but Dr. Qin declined, citing a confidentiality agreement that also required their voices to be altered to maintain anonymity. Dr. Qin revealed the volunteer, Ke Siyi, was chosen for her high emotional sensitivity. Simultaneously, Ke Siyi was informed this would be her final session. She felt immense pity for the patient, lamenting that he might never experience basic emotions.

During their final session, sitting back-to-back with their identities concealed, Ke Siyi guided Xu Nuo on expressing anger. When he asked how to express sadness, he revealed that even at his mother's funeral, he couldn't cry. He explained his grief "hurt more than tears" and that he coped by hugging himself, just as his mother used to. Suddenly, a machine malfunctioned. Ke Siyi tried to reassure him, but he calmly stated he felt no fear, only pain, leaving him confused.

Witnessing his profound loneliness, Ke Siyi sincerely wished she could share half of her empathy with him. As they left separately under a light rain, Ke Siyi accidentally bumped into a utility pole but felt no pain. Miles away, Xu Nuo suddenly clutched his head, struck by an inexplicable pain from an unknown source.
