Su Jianan, dressed in pink lace pajamas, attempted to elicit a reaction from Lu Boyan. She playfully shook her hair, accidentally splashing water into his eyes, yet internally noted how a man's eyes change in such moments, archiving this "knowledge point." She then dramatically played loud, pulsating music, immersing herself in a personal concert fantasy, dancing erratically as if possessed. Lu Boyan's bewildered expression indicated the scene was far from her imagined beauty, appearing rather bizarre and unsettling to him.

Sensing the moment for her ultimate "killer move," she danced closer, only to stumble and fall into his arms. He expertly caught her, pinning her between himself and the sofa. As their eyes met and he leaned in for a kiss, a voice recorder, which she had discreetly placed, prevented their lips from meeting.

Su Jianan then pointed the recorder at herself, feigning diligent note-taking, before declaring she had to "catch up with the draft" and retreating to the study, telling Lu Boyan he could "sleep on the floor tonight" as she had no intention of sleeping with him. Su Jianan retreated to the study, feigning diligence with her notes, to work on her draft.

Later that night, Lu Boyan, unable to sleep in the master bedroom, eventually found her fast asleep in the study. The following morning, Su Jianan awoke in Lu Boyan's bed, surprised to find him touching her. When she questioned his actions, he claimed he was merely trying to adjust her clothes, which he said had fallen off. She then remarked that "Mr. Lu is really warm," with an ambiguous tone.

At breakfast, Lu Boyan's mother, Ms. Tang, immediately noticed Su Jianan's flushed face and Lu Boyan gingerly holding his back. With a knowing look, Ms. Tang subtly implied the couple had been "uncontrolled," despite Su Jianan's attempts to deny it. Ms. Tang also playfully advised Lu Boyan to "take it easy" as "life is long."

Later, Lu Boyan apologized for his "instinctive reaction" that morning, though he humorously added that her hand had been in a "dangerous area" when he woke up, suggesting they simply "pretend nothing happened." Shortly after, Lu Boyan took a call, during which his assistant inquired about his well-being, to which he briefly replied he was fine before concluding the call.

On his way to work, Lu Boyan came across the updated chapter of his wife's novel, which brought a faint smile to his face as he recalled the events of the previous night. Meanwhile, at the office, Xuanxuan, a writer at the company, was vehemently arguing with President Du. She expressed her desire to write "BA Zong's warm-married new wife" and demanded that the current author be replaced, asserting her superior track record.

President Du, however, explained that the project had already launched, and since it was Mr. Lu's decision, changing authors was impossible. He tried to appease her by offering other lucrative projects and top resources, but Xuanxuan remained obstinate and stormed out. Moments later, Su Jianan arrived, and President Du immediately welcomed her. He lauded her new novel, emphasizing the "ambiguous," "addictive," and "hormone-filled" first encounter between the leads, praising its "sweet yet not vulgar" tone.

However, he then delivered a caveat: despite the suggestive cohabitation scene, "nothing actually happened." He stressed that modern readers, with their fast pace, required "real, passionate segments," like "hugs and kisses," and insisted these needed to occur "before the third chapter" to keep them engaged. The next update was due the day after tomorrow. With the next chapter due in just two days, Su Jianan was overwhelmed by the demand for "passion."

Desperate for inspiration, she turned to a voice assistant, asking if it had ever been in love and then for "love information." The assistant provided a list of "must-do activities for couples," to Su Jianan's dismay, she realized she had never experienced any of them. Seeking practical help, she called Jiang Shaokai, who initially offered to take her to find inspiration.

However, he quickly made an excuse about a family emergency and had to cancel, though he boasted about his extensive "experience" in romance, claiming he could make her "inspiration explode," despite her pointing out their differing writing styles—hers being "sweet pet" and his more akin to a novel with multiple romantic interests.

During this time, Su Jianan also spoke with her mother, Ms. Tang, who had prepared some clothes for her, as Su Jianan pondered what "plot points" to execute at Yida Plaza. Soon after, Lu Boyan, who had abruptly left a meeting, appeared. He explained his sudden presence by saying he "feared her novel would be too vulgar."

Su Jianan retorted, questioning why he, "who manages everything every day," had time for such "vulgar things," and expressed embarrassment at the thought of others knowing she was "Mrs. Lu." When Jiang Shaokai called, looking for Su Jianan, Lu Boyan intercepted the phone call, curtly informing Jiang Shaokai that Su Jianan was with him and to return home. Su Jianan, slightly annoyed, then urged Lu Boyan to start their "precious time."

With Jiang Shaokai dismissed, Su Jianan decided to complete the "must-do activities for couples" list with Lu Boyan. They first visited a photo booth, where Lu Boyan initially hesitated, claiming such things were beneath him. However, Su Jianan challenged him, and he eventually agreed to a ten-pose photo shoot. Su Jianan found their rigidly formal photos devoid of inspiration, teasing Lu Boyan about his "boring President's life" and lack of "fun."

Lu Boyan retorted that "fun" required her cooperation, subtly pointing to a maid outfit visible in one of the photo options. Su Jianan, for the sake of her "good work," agreed, charmingly appearing before him in the cute maid attire. While she initially fantasized about a romantic wall-pinning kiss, she instead playfully molded and rubbed Lu Boyan's face, creating a series of amusing expressions that made her laugh joyfully, a display Lu Boyan indulged without resistance.

After reviewing their collection of comical and odd photos, they proceeded to a local malatang shop. Lu Boyan expressed skepticism at the seemingly haphazard mixture of ingredients in the boiling red oil. Su Jianan, however, encouraged him to try it. To his own surprise, after finishing one pot, he ordered an additional fifty skewers, clearly having succumbed to its deliciousness. He even took a photo of the scene and sent it to his assistant, Yuechuan.

Unbeknownst to them, Han Ruoxi saw the picture, and remembering Lu Boyan's sensitive stomach and aversion to spicy food, she found herself hesitating to make a call, caught between concern and confusion. Next, Su Jianan and Lu Boyan ventured into a room escape game. Despite initial reluctance from the staff, who typically required more players, they were granted entry after the manager recognized Lu Boyan as a major shareholder of the mall.

They quickly turned the experience into a competition, with Su Jianan proving exceptionally insightful and Lu Boyan, a veteran of suspense, equally adept. As Su Jianan jubilantly twisted a mechanism, opening a secret passage, she stumbled off a stool and fell directly into Lu Boyan's arms.

In this tender embrace, she instinctively puckered her lips for a kiss, but Lu Boyan, seizing the moment, slyly snapped a photo of her pouting face, asserting it was for "inspiration" and that their "score was now even" from the morning's incident. Before they could continue, the lights abruptly went out. Su Jianan used her phone's flashlight to locate Lu Boyan, finding him huddled in a corner, drenched in cold sweat and visibly distressed.

He leaned against her, clutching her arm, his discomfort evident. She initially wondered if he was merely playing a trick, then realized his stomach was hurting, likely from the spicy malatang. She stayed by his side, gently rubbing his hands to warm them. Lu Boyan, still in pain and denying a fear of the dark, murmured that he had not been so relaxed in a long time, while also apologizing for his earlier playful deception.

As they found comfort in each other's presence in the darkness, they shared an unexpected moment of vulnerability, leading Su Jianan to realize that Lu Boyan was not as disagreeable as she once thought. Meanwhile, back at their home, Ms. Tang, Lu Boyan's mother, finally opened a small, previously untouched box that Lu Boyan had always kept private.

Inside, she discovered a collection of childhood photos of a young Lu Boyan and Su Jianan together, confirming her long-held suspicions about their shared past. Lu Boyan, still feeling unwell, asked Su Jianan for her hand.
