When Lu Xiao tried to evade her questions, she attempted to force a kiss on him to test her theory, causing him to faint.
Realizing he was suffering from low blood sugar after being starved and forced to run a marathon by Xu Guanghan, she gave him a candy. After she shared more candy with a complaining Luo Ke and Su Lie, one of them remarked that the punishment was worth it if Kele brought them more food in the future. Later, during an interaction with the virtual version of Lu Xiao, Jiang Kele mentioned meeting a "real human" who resembled him.
In response, the virtual Lu Xiao expressed his unwavering devotion, affirming he would stay by her side in any capacity because her happiness was what mattered most. Meanwhile, Lei Na reported to Xu Guanghan that Lu Xiao still refused to explain why he had hidden Jiang Kele, suggesting he might have ulterior motives. He explained his divestment was due to her company's poor performance but now sought to re-invest, citing its improved prospects and her strong public image. Before she could proceed, security guards apprehended her and brought her before Xu Guanghan. He menacingly displayed a vial of potent poison, interrogating her about her relationship with Guan Qianya and whether she had divulged details about Bayhouse. Jiang Kele confirmed her close friendship with Guan Qianya but denied sharing any sensitive information. At that moment, her phone rang with a call from Guan Qianya.
