> Listening Snow Tower Recap

In the Sand Valley, Qing Lan conversed with Ye Huo, often mentioning his little junior sister. He worried that the current chaos would disturb her peace, hoping she would forever be safe. He wished that if she ever became entangled in the pugilistic world, her days in Sand Valley would remain her best memories. Suddenly, a strange sound echoed through the valley.

Qing Lan quickly told Ye Huo to return before flying off to investigate, discovering many dead Moon Sect disciples scattered on the ground. Bai Di soon arrived, his expression grim, surprised that Moon Sect had not only found the entrance to Sand Valley but also managed to reach the secret chamber. He noted that if it weren't for the intricate mechanisms of the chamber, the consequences would have been dire.

Meanwhile, Mai Qiancheng, believing he had killed Xiao Shishui, sought credit from Hua Lian. Hua Lian, however, was skeptical, noting the absence of any funeral news from Snow Tower. A subordinate then reported that Xiao Yiqing had discovered and eradicated Moon Sect's secret sentry outside Luoyang the previous day, revealing that the location was allegedly divulged by Mai Qiancheng.

Mai Qiancheng, shocked, protested his innocence, but Hua Lian, deeming him a treacherous opportunist, believed he would eventually betray Moon Sect as well. To eliminate future trouble, Hua Lian swiftly killed Mai Qiancheng. Xiao Shishui had a heart-to-heart with Xiao Yiqing, acknowledging that his own negligence had led to Mai Qiancheng's betrayal. He expressed remorse for neglecting his son and for Snow Tower's decline due to his prolonged self-pity.

He admitted his failure to kill Hua Lian was his greatest regret and resolved to take matters into his own hands. Xiao Shishui placed the heavy responsibility of Snow Tower upon Xiao Yiqing's shoulders, instructing him that a martial artist should die by the sword and that Snow Tower and Moon Sect could never coexist. Xiao Yiqing solemnly promised to forever bear his father's words in his heart.

Elsewhere, Bai Di was in the painful process of transferring the Crown Prince's gu poison into Ye Huo's body to save the young royal's life. Ye Huo endured the agony, recalling Qing Lan’s comforting words about eating sweets to calm nerves. Qing Lan offered to fetch him some. Xiao Shishui then prepared to drink a tranquilizing potion. Though it significantly boosted inner energy, its effects would wear off after four hours, leading to severe backlash.

Despite the risks, Xiao Shishui was resolute, explaining that he had tolerated Mai Qiancheng for years, waiting for the right moment to act after Xiao Yiqing took over. He was impressed by Xiao Yiqing's decisive actions upon his return. Xiao Shishui intended to remove all obstacles for his son and atone for a decade of inaction. He tasked Doctor Mo with looking after Xiao Yiqing's health.

Soon after, chaos erupted within Snow Tower as Tian Li Assembly and Snow Tower forces engaged in a fierce, bloody battle. Amidst the fighting, Zi Mo attempted to persuade Huang Quan to give up, pointing out that Mai Qiancheng was gone and Tian Li Assembly was leaderless. However, Huang Quan, still fervent in his belief that Tian Li Assembly championed justice, rallied his fellow members with cries of "Arrest the violent, assist the weak! Support justice!"

He vowed to fight to the death. Xiao Yiqing disarmed Huang Quan, acknowledging the surprising loyalty found within Tian Li Assembly. An attendant then reported to Xiao Yiqing that Xiao Shishui and the Moon Sect leader were both in the secret chamber. Xiao Yiqing rushed there, with Shu Jingrong close behind. Unable to open the chamber door, Xiao Yiqing frantically attacked it with his sword, aggravating his Jue Yin Disease.

Shu Jingrong, despite not having fully mastered the Extreme Yang energy she learned at Bai Di School, transferred some of her inner energy to him. Xiao Yiqing thanked her and, with renewed determination, ordered Nan Chu to retrieve gunpowder to blast open the stone door. Inside the secret chamber, Xiao Shishui confronted Hua Lian, stating that he would not leave alive and that it was time to end their long-standing hatred.

Hua Lian, resentful, questioned his sentiment, reminding him that she had met him first, yet he fell for Xue Wen. Xiao Shishui coldly retorted that Hua Lian, having brutally killed countless people, knew nothing of love. Hua Lian, with a sinister smile, revealed that Xue Wen was not dead but suffering under Moon Sect's Holy Lake. She further confessed that Xiao Yiqing's lifelong illness was her doing, as she had poisoned him as a fetus.

Xiao Shishui, enraged, drew his sword, but Mai Qiancheng suddenly emerged, revealing himself to be under Hua Lian's control, a puppet animated by her "fire venom." Xiao Shishui fought the puppet-like Mai Qiancheng, but his strength waned. Hua Lian, controlling Mai Qiancheng, plunged a sword into Xiao Shishui's chest. At that moment, Xiao Yiqing and Nan Chu successfully blasted open the stone door.

Xiao Yiqing's eyes blazed with fury at the sight of his father's tragic state, and he swiftly killed Mai Qiancheng. Seeing the tide turn, Hua Lian fled. Xiao Yiqing desperately tried to stem his father's bleeding and called for a doctor. With his last breath, Xiao Shishui whispered, "Your mother. . . is still alive." Xiao Yiqing was overcome with grief, blaming himself for arriving too late.

He reflected on the devastating losses, realizing that though Tian Li Assembly was annihilated, Snow Tower was crumbling. He concluded that only by achieving supreme power and reigning over the martial world could he avenge his father and bring peace to the land. Later, Bai Di and Master Xue arrived to pay their respects. Master Xue offered support to Xiao Yiqing, acknowledging Snow Tower's difficulties. Xiao Yiqing thanked them, vowing to uphold his father's legacy.

He expressed concern about Hua Lian's insidious motives, especially after her attempt on the Crown Prince's life and her manipulation of Tian Li Assembly. He urged them to remain vigilant in Sand Valley, despite Hua Lian's current injuries. Bai Di assured him that Sand Valley's complex terrain and his watchfulness would deter any further attempts by Hua Lian.

As Nan Chu draped a cloak over Xiao Yiqing, who knelt before his father's memorial tablet, Xiao Yiqing admitted Snow Tower's defeat and its precarious state. He resolved to swiftly eliminate Mai Qiancheng's remaining forces.
