Yin Liuzhu retorted that Snow Tower was her sworn enemy, alleging that Xiao Yiqing had massacred the Yin family and orchestrated events to acquire the Guo Se Sword. She vowed that the next day, everyone would see Xiao Yiqing's true, cold-blooded nature.

Nangong Wugou, securing Chi Xiaotai, discussed his plans with his subordinate, revealing that Yin Liuzhu had provided him with a detailed defense layout of Snow Tower, which she had drawn from memory. He confirmed that his suicide warriors were ready for the Guo Se Sword launch the following day, awaiting his signal, and reiterated his intent to use Chi Xiaotai, whom he described as "Xiao Yiqing's beloved junior," as leverage. The Sword Appreciation Ceremony commenced as planned.

Yin Liuzhu presented the Guo Se Sword, solemnly stating that its forging consumed the very "life and blood of Yin family" and embodied their vengeance. He further alleged that after the Yin family massacre, Snow Tower had sent its top assassins, from Chuihua House, to kill him at the Yin residence, and that Shu Jingrong had been a witness to this. He declared his intention to "serve justice for heaven's sake." Shu Jingrong vehemently refuted his claims, accusing him of twisting the truth. At this critical moment, Yin Liuzhu, who had remained silent, stepped forward and confronted Nangong Wugou.

She held up a golden hair bell, asking him if he remembered it as their "token of affection." She then revealed that after she and Shu Jingrong had returned to the Yin residence to pay respects, a surviving maid named Ling Er had given her the hair bell, explaining that she had found it on the floor the night of the massacre after the killers had left, keeping it because she knew its significance.

Yin Liuzhu declared that Nangong Wugou's "insincerity and lies" had transformed their token of affection into irrefutable proof of his crime. She exposed his entire scheme: that he had orchestrated the massacre of her family, seized the Heavenly Arsenal Manual, and sought to obtain the Guo Se Sword. The revelation shocked the assembled martial artists, who now understood Nangong Wugou was the true killer.

As Nangong Wugou tried to deflect the accusations, Xiao Yiqing, accompanied by his guards, made a dramatic entrance. Gu Guang, who had been secretly observing from the crowd, immediately accused Nangong Wugou of sending false reports to the Moon Sect about Xiao Yiqing's severe injury and coma, before swiftly departing. She affirmed that she deliberately showed Nangong Wugou's subordinate a fake defense layout and had not poisoned Snow Tower's men, all part of a calculated trap to expose him. Xiao Yiqing further revealed Nangong Wugou's ambition to make his family the premier sword-forging clan and acquire the Guo Se Sword. Desperate, Nangong Wugou attempted to discredit Snow Tower, accusing Xiao Yiqing of ruthlessly eliminating rivals under the pretense of justice.

As Yin Liuzhu then raised a dagger to attack him, Nangong Wugou quickly seized her as a hostage, threatening Xiao Yiqing and boasting about his hidden suicide warriors and disciples from other clans, intending to use them to turn the tide. However, Chi Xiaotai and Gao Mengfei had already neutralized these hidden forces. Chi Xiaotai, it was revealed, had deliberately allowed herself to be captured to ascertain Nangong Wugou's plans and coordinate with Gao Mengfei.

With no escape, Nangong Wugou appealed to Yin Liuzhu, begging her to forgive him and escape with him, claiming his love for her was genuine and that they could leave the martial world behind. She succumbed to the poison shortly after. In the aftermath, the martial artists, now fully aware of Nangong Wugou's deception, pledged their unwavering loyalty to Snow Tower and vowed to dedicate themselves to eliminating the Moon Sect. Xiao Yiqing dismissed them.

A subordinate later reported to Shu Jingrong that the Nangong family situation was resolved; those complicit in the Yin family homicide were handed over to the authorities, and the remaining family members had confessed. Furthermore, all Moon Sect members, except for Gu Guang, had been apprehended. Shu Jingrong acknowledged the successful operation. She then spoke of Chi Xiaotai's cleverness in allowing herself to be captured to ascertain enemy positions and coordinate with Gao Mengfei in neutralizing Nangong Wugou's hidden forces.

Xiao Yiqing, though pleased with the outcome, instructed that Chi Xiaotai should not be permitted to undertake such dangerous missions again. Later, with the turmoil settled, Shu Jingrong sat beside a recovering Xiao Yiqing, their fingers intertwined, sharing a sweet moment. She recognized Gu Guang's crucial contribution in delivering the Moon Spirit just in time.

Xiao Yiqing further elaborated that their "good show" at the ceremony also provided Gu Guang with an opportunity to return to the Moon Sect safely after they dealt with his informant. Xiao Yiqing expressed his confidence that even if he had remained unconscious, Shu Jingrong would have been capable of protecting Snow Tower. She gently dismissed his compliment, checking on his well-being, to which he reassured her.

Doctor Mo confirmed that the hairpin Yin Liuzhu used contained a highly potent mixture of several snake venoms, making it impossible to save her. Xiao Yiqing then drank his medicine, assisted by Shu Jingrong. Meanwhile, Gao Mengfei mused to Chi Xiaotai about her transformation, noting that she had accepted Shu Jingrong's seemingly dangerous plan to be a hostage, a stark contrast to her past self who would have angrily refused.

Chi Xiaotai, now with a determined expression, declared that she was no longer the person she used to be. She understood that to be valued by Snow Tower, like Shu Jingrong, she could no longer live under protection but must forge her own path to strength.
